Beautiful property, village theme property , last road rough road otherwise all good , delicious food, nature view, Mountain View

The last little bit of the road was rough but the property was a beautiful, old village themed property, the cottage very beautiful with a private lawn.

Positives :- Great hotel, great experience. What scenic views. We stayed for 1 night 3 people at ₹10k with breakfast but worth the price, yet a little overpriced too. The hotel, it's staff, ambience are literally amazing. Good food available in their restaurant at decent price. The authentic village views combined with the breathtaking views really make your day, legit!! Quick and responsive service by the housekeeping staff. Negatives :- As we were a family of 2, we requested the staff to accommodate us in nearby cottages. During checkin, 2 nearby cottages were not available. Later when a guest checked out, we requested the staff to shift one of the rooms but the staff lied saying some work was going on although the cottage was open and upon inspection, we found that the cottage was perfectly fine and ready for the next day. So definitely guest request ignorance is neither appreciated not appropriated. The location of the hotel is on a weird cliff which makes it harder for guests to reach to the property, even after using Google Maps. To add to the confusion, the locals know the hotel as "MUD HOUSE" and not as Kasauli Ggaon. So to ask directions from local, refer the hotel as "MUD HOUSE". Due to this, our arrival got delayed by approximately 45 minutes. The raw staff with sense of traditional Indian hospitality could be trained to be a little more professional. The amenities in the hotel premise could be improved a bit. I mean there's literally nothing additional in the hotel apartment from the breathtaking views and amazing rooms. Swimming pool was closed. We were not allowed to lit the bonfire as the weather was not deemed condusive by the staff. The playing activities for kids were not maintained and/or broken, except chess board. Buffett spread for breakfast is kind of basic and not expansive like decent and good hotels, however the taste was good. You have to do a little bit of trekking to reach to your cottage and to and fro restaurant with no assistance of wheelchair and/or lift for old people. Takeaways/Recommendations :- Don't stay for more than 1 night. Not worth it unless you wanna enjoy the serene views and just unwind and relax. You might get bored otherwise. We sixteen senior citizen doctor couples from Amritsar visited this Kasauli Ggaon Resort from 6th April to 8th April 2025. It is a very beautiful village themed property just a couple of kms before Kasauli on the Mohan Meaken Distillery lane. It has beautiful aesthetically designed mud cottages offering tranquility, designed to offer a village experience. The cottages are designed like old village accommodations. There are lots of activities there to keep you busy. The cottages have personal lawns. The property is spread far and wide with great huge trees with birds chirping around. A small walking trail also there. All natural surroundings..Views of the mountains were mesmerising. The had a fish pond with lovely colorful fishes. A artificial waterfall also there. Round the clock tea service. They have an alto car which brings down and up guests to the reception from the cottages which are at a steep descent. There is a lovely terrace roof top with bonfire arrangements and indoor games like carrom board ,ludo, badminton etc. You can never be bored in this property. We were served very sumptuous fresh and mouth watering dishes at breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinners. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with very beautiful and clean spacious rooms, neat and clean linen and clean bathrooms. In the end I have to thank the MD sahib Mr Deepak Chopra and his entire staff. GM Akshay and Sanjiv. F&B manager Hardev, chef Davinder, Hira Lal, Mohit, Vikas and many others who were very polite, respectful, and were always on their toes looking after us

It was really a great experience at Ggaon Kasauli. Everything was superb. Beautiful location and it's situated nea the kasauli mall road. Highly recommended😊 loved their food and service. Must visit destination with family and friends
