Next door renovation is in progress therefore you can’t really get a rest during day time. Besides the overall vibe of the hotel light too dark maybe they need to replace higher voltage light bulb otherwise it looks abit creepy. Bed too soft can feel the spring, towel abit old. WiFi quite weak. Opposite there is night club so unavoidable noise. Overall you can get a better hotel option with same price or pay slightly more. But if you are a budget traveller and only opt for one night stay. You are good to go. Staffs very helpful and friendly.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Location is very good. It's very convenient for us.

①布団のシーツに大きな茶色いシミがあった ②歯ブラシ、ティッシュ、ドライヤー、室内スリッパなし ③タオルは古くて汚い ④トイレとシャワーが密接しており、カーテン等もないため、シャワーを使用するとトイレがびしょ濡れになる ⑤お湯がぬるいため、冬のシャワーはきつい ⑥エアコンなし 現地で予約した方が安いです。

The inn is very accessible from the airport. The nightshift male receptionist is very very friendly. And attended to all of our needs and queries. He even asked the chinese restaurant beside to wait for us before they close down at 11.30pm. The family room that we booked is very nice and very spacious. Good for travelers with lots of things as it has a living room area where we can out all of our things first. Will book again whenever i am in Kathmandu

Older hotel with a real Nepal feel. Very close to endless shops, bars and cafes.

Very nice and calm hotel perfectly located in the center of Katmandou. Cool atmosphere and super clean room. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Nepal Pavillion was wonderful. The staff were extremely accommodating and flexible for our arrangements. It is in a centralised location, making accessing Thamel very easy. There is a great restaurant on the top floor and the rooftop was an excellent way to escape the busy streets of Kathmandu. We had an issue with our key being locked in the room, and the staff were very quick to resolve. They have a great antiques store, cold beers, and excellent suggestions. We will stay again the next time we pass through Kathmandu!

Wir waren spontan bei Ankunft in Kathmandu im Nepal Pavillion Inn. Die Lage, die Sauberkeit und Ausstattung vor allem aber die überaus freundliche Rezeption haben uns so überzeugt, dass wir zum Ende unserer Rundreise wieder hier abgestiegen sind. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

We stayed here at the start and end of our Nepal trip and it was a great place to stay! It was centrally located with all amenities around, the room was comfortable and the staff were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here c

Perfect hotel in the heart of Thamel Perfect stay in this lovely hotel, perfectly located in Thamel but isolated from the outside noise. The room is lovely, clean comfortable. The owner is very helpful, full of good tips to navigate the city. The restaurant on the rooftop prepares delicious food made with local organic product, I highly recommend for dinner.

Very nice experience, stayed here every time we were in KTM. Very reasonably priced hotel, friendly staff that provided good advice and were generally very helpful. Comfortable, clean rooms. Breakfast available and access to a rooftop area with good views of the city. Would visit again.

This hotel receives some of the highest ratings on ***********, Expedia.com, and here. We booked the hotel as a result and were just amazed at the disconnect between the reviews and the reality. The hotel is dim and claustrophobic. Staff are fairly helpful. However, the rooms -- or at least the one we were assigned -- are uncomfortable and dirty. We found lights broken, garbage still on the floor from a previous tenant, and a dingy, very tight, and unclean bathroom. There were mosquitos in the room, probably due to the window that would not close, leaving an always-open 1.5cm gap. The air conditioner turned on, but then turned off. The towels were grey. The bed was small, mushy, and poor quality and sagged to the middle. The window was filthy, but no matter, it looked out to a wall a couple of feet away. We stayed only a couple of hours while I searched for a better hotel. On leaving, I received no difficulty or quarrel with the staff. Again, they were quite reasonable. What really bothers me is that this hotel has risen to, or near to, the top on many sites. I understand that my North American perspectives may not square with those of people from around the world, but still, it seems improbable that so many would praise this property so enthusiastically. My advice is simply to lower your expectations significantly if you stay here. It is a cheap place to lay down your head, but it's no more, and probably something less, than you should expect for the price.

Nice and quiet hoyel located in the heart of busy Thamel diatrict. Rooms are clean, service is very nice. The owner is helpful. There is also a restaurant at the roof of the hotel that offers breakfast and dinner.
