From the time I registered there were the obvious changes, no welcome bags nor water for HHonors members, just a reminder that if you were not gold or silver member, water would be $3. No complimentary coffee beyond breakfast, while breakfast wasn’t complimentary, the picking weren’t worth the cost. Plumbing poor, toilet backed up during the night and the front desk couldn’t find or locate plunger and I was told I would have to sit until morning when the staff arrived. Carpet hadn’t been clean, obvious dirt, room service didn’t police room for two days straight during my 4 night, 5 day stay. All the above was reported to the front desk and I was told management would follow up, as of this review I haven’t heard from anyone. While I’m disappointed, Hilton Corporation is in part the blame. HCorporation is sell off these chains to franchisees under the Hilton name and brand and they don’t monitor or police whether the name and brand is being truly represented. I will not return to this particular hotel ( which feels more like a truck stop) any more, and if the HCorporation doesn’t care about their name or brand, then it’s profit over quality of service.
