Castello Boutique Rooms

Spontane gelişen Kavala ziyaretimizde uzun arayışlar sonunda bulduğumuz bir yerdi. Son odaydı ve onu tuttuk. Bizimle ilgilenen hanımefendinin nezaketi, odanın temizliği, ferahlığı, konforu, konumu itibariyle çok iyi bir konaklama sunuyor. Şehrin göbeğinde ve fiyat ***et yerinde. Deniz manzaralı, en üst katta bir suitte kalıyoruz ve benim gibi hijyen takıntısı olan biri için muhteşem bir seçenek diyebilirim. Caddeden gelen yoğun sese bile aldırmıyorum. Akışa bıraktım, keyfini çıkarıyorum.

We spent 4 nights here, staff is nice, place is clean. Be aware that they do not have elevators and you have to move your luggage up the stairs, which can be quite difficult. On arrival we were told that they change the towels every other day and they change the bedsheets every 3rd day, which was a suprise considering this is advertised as a 4 star hotel. However, this is not a hotel, rather managed apartments, with reception only available between 9:30-21:00. You access the buidling by punching in a code, which is quite unsafe, because last night at this place I wanted to get something from my car and when I went downsrairs I found some people sitting in front of the main door, leaning with their back against it. As I came back from my car, holding some water bottles, one asked me for a bottle of water and another one looked straight at me waiting for me to punch in the access code. I could therefore not punch in the access code, went for a walk looking for a Police car and not finding any in the area at the time, I asked a store owner nearby from whom we had bought stuff to help me out, as I didn't have my phone with me. He called the Police. This was quite an unpleasant experience and I will not be surprised if losers will get access to this "hotel" soon taking advantage that there is no one in the reception after 21:00. Another unpleasant experience was that one of the nights as we were having dinner at a restaurant further away from the "hotel", the receptionist called saying I have to move my car. I asked why, because I had parked my car as any other cars in the area on the street of the "hotel" making sure I am not blocking traffic on the street. She was adamant that I had to go move the car because "the hotel owner called and said you have to move the car". We had to interrupt our dinner and go back, when I got there I saw that the street was not blocked by my car, traffic was running as usual, so I went inside and the receptionist said "the store owner in front of which you parked needs the space tomorrow morning for deliveries". So it was not urgent, they interrupted our dinner with a rude "you have to move the car" when it was actually no emergency and they could have waited, let alone aske politely. I went downstairs and my car was only partially in front of the said store, I only had to move it backwards a bit. I found this intervention by the hotel owner very poorly handled. Though the location is great, we will not be going back to hotel.

Una stanza curata, profumata di pulito (finalmente!), con un balcone dove si può fare colazione (da acquistare in uno dei bar a 150mt). Ottima per motociclisti in quanto ci sono molti parcheggi, dedicati e non. Unica nota, secondo piano senza ascensore... ,a si fanno volentieri, la stanza è perfetta e con infissi che isolano perfettamente.
