"It is an old building that is not auto lock, but it is a clean and clean hotel. Dinner was delicious with many kinds of side dishes. The amount is not large, but I'm not eating much, so it was just right. The breakfast buffet was more variety and more full than dinner. About 30 minutes by car to Lake Towada. Compared to the lakeside hotel, the cospa is good."

"Service - the service was one of the best and most hospitable in Japan I've come across Location - it is just located 5mins' walk from the Yuze Onsen JR station (though it is a local line with not very frequent trains - about 3-4 a day). yet they have a shuttle service to cover that 2 mins drive! Dinner - the food was well presented and delicious. onsen - There are 2 onsens, one indoors and one outdoors in the snow. they were comfortable (although they did not have a fantastic view, but it does its job). temperature was right and wea almost had all of it to ourselves."

"The hotel lobby sits and looks at the snow outside the window. It is beautiful, the dinner is rich, there are abalones, and cattle. If the service is less or less, it is very good. The hot spring is very good and the outdoor scenery is beautiful."

"This very homestay style accommodation started some 48 years ago by the grandma. Two of her daugthers, Kaori and Katura now runs this cosy place with about 10 rooms. The stars are the two Akita inu, Haru-chan (father), 7 years old. And his daughter, Hana-chan (6 years old). it will take some time to warm up with them, similar to Shiba inu. We got to spend sometime with both of them during our stay, including giving them some treats, watched Haru-chan drinks ice cream with ice (it was a hot day). Chatted with Kaori and grandma to find out more about them. We had dinner and breakfast which was home cooked style. It has been a pleasant stay. Very friendly and down to earth family. This is highly recommended if you are into Akita Inu and enjoy homestay."
