One&Only Kéa Island

I stayed in July for 5 nights with my wife and 2 kids, what an incredible resort! We arrived by ferry and were immediately greeted and then whisked to the resort within 25 minutes. The main building sits atop of a little hill and has the most incredibly views of the sea and a million dollar sunset! The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, from the super professional host team, the team at Bond or their main restaurant. My wife and I had the chance to sample incredible cuisine, the highlight being the 7-course tasting menu of a famous 2-star Greek Michelin chef. The kids spent some tine in their beautiful kids club and quickly found friend they hung out with during the day as my wife and I relaxed at Bond. The Suite was beyond words, incredibly views from a high vantage point - swimming at the private pool during sunset was one of the highlights. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough, simply breathtaking. We look forward to returning in the very near future again!

From the moment we arrived, we found ourselves in an atmosphere of genuine warmth and elegance. Every member of the team was professional and hospitable. They made us feel at ease and provided a comfort that is rare to find. The service was efficient and delivered with an authenticity that made us feel truly special . A special note of appreciation goes to the General Manager Mr. Colson, whose thoughtful presence and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of our stay. The design of the hotel is simply amazing! Blending contemporary sophistication with the natural beauty of Kea. The sea views are simply mesmerizing Watching the sun melt into the horizon from our room was an experience we will never forget. For anyone visiting Kea Island, this is, without doubt, the place to be.

The room and premises looked as expected based on the pictures, with the exception of the windows facing the sea which were completely stained. There were some welcome chocolates that we enjoyed right away, but for some reason the empty serving tray remained there throughout our entire stay. The pool is heated to a maximum of 20ºC which was sadly not enough to bathe comfortably. We found the food and the service to be below standard. Within the same meal we had to stand to serve ourselves water (not within our reach) twice, received food missing the side dish and then received the wrong side dish (something we had not ordered), had someone replace the cutlery that had already been replaced and had a dish arrive with an entirely different topping from what was listed on the menu. During our stay we had several members of the staff recommend visiting the spa, which is apparently the biggest out of the O&O resorts. The spa closed at 18 despite the many signs around the premises indicating otherwise. The ladies' sauna and steam room were not operative and I had to notify the staff twice before they actually went to check. They confirmed that it was not working and would not be fixed that day and sent me to the men's facilities. We appreciated the room upgrade we got upon arrival and the late checkout on our departure day, as well as the kind gestures when our dissatisfaction regarding the food was brought to the staff's attention.

Nous sommes allés boire un apéro lors de la grosse tempête de fin avril. Arrivée vers 21.00: au portail d'entrée, le gardien ne parle pas un mot d'anglais. Attente de 5 à 10 minutes, le temps qu'il prenne ses instructions de la direction (nous venions naturellement sans réservation). Le gardien relève les plaques de notre voiture et j'ai bien crû qu'il allait nous demander nos passeports! Cauchemardesque ! Nous entrons enfin. Accueil professionnel et chaleureux. Compte tenu du temps, nous sommes conduits à un petit bar très cosy où nous accueille un barman à la fois attentif et prévenant, maîtrisant parfaitement la langue de Shakespeare. Vin blanc et cocktail parfaits... En revanche, pas l'ombre d'un zakouski pour accompagner le tout ! Décevant et, pour tout dire, inadmissible à la fois au vu des prix élevés (ce n'était pas une surprise) et surtout au service pratiqué par les bars de l'île. Ces derniers servent quasi systématiquement des à côtés A éviter, en tout cas pour un apéro. Les Bobos
