The decoration of the whole hostel is specially designed with chic handcrafted works and displays.

My wife and I booked this amazing guesthouse on the first night of our long awaited honeymoon and we could not have been more pleased. The little details were what impressed us the most from the restaurant recommendations, wonderful wildflower greeting bouquet to the delicious home made breakfast all made our stay memorable. Highly recommend!

We needed to stay here one night due to a last minute flight change. I am so happy that there was a room available because it ended up being the perfect start to our trip! The guest house was so charming and comfortable, and the homemade food (and chocolates we were greeted with) was an added bonus!

We had an early flight the next day and wanted a nice place to stay with a bit of character. We found it at 1x6. Andy and Yuki were very friendly as were the other guests. We shared our Icelandic experiences in the thermal pool in the garden before going in our separate ways. The airport is about 5 minutes drive from the guesthouse and it's definitely worth arranging a lift or collection from Andy. Just even for the chat in the van and the welcome coffee to wake us up !!!

Couldn't have booked a better place in Iceland. So friendly and welcoming, hosts Andi and Yuki go the extra mile (literally) drove us to and from the airport and also to the Viking museum. A warm, friendly, cosy lovely guesthouse with a great breakfast. I think the hosts run it because they genuinely love doing it, or at least that is the impression I get. They have only been open a year and have already had such rave reviews that the guesthouse is heavily booked. I hope to return to Iceland which is a fantastic place and if so I will book well in advance. . The only thing that I was doubtful about was the shared bathroom but actually this worked out fine on the 2 days we stayed. The guesthouse is in a great location, near the airport but somehow you don't get any noise, and handy for local facilities and very very close to the beautiful shoreline. What is more it has a "natural" hot tub /pond in the back garden which you can go and sit in, first place I have ever known this! What a find. I would rate it 6/5 if I could!

Andi and Yuki run a phenomenal establishment only minutes away from the airport. They have a very artistic B&B, have their own geothermal hot spring, and whip up a great breakfast. This is our second stay in six years- and definitely will return!

Andy and Yuki (guesthouse owners) are so nice and great people. They built their house as really nice place with warmly sweet home feelings and great personal human based services. Unforgetable breakfast, mainly on Yuki homemade food. Don't miss it. You would see and try arty designed rooms (bathroom at base floor is something special for technicians 😉). Last but really important point: privat hot pot at the garden!!! Just enjoy the Iceland feelings right at the garden!😉

Nous ne sommes pas habitués des guesthouses, mais là l'expérience a été très réussie ! Tout d'abord l'accueil et toutes les petites attentions des propriétaires qui sont charmantes. Je ne vous les révèlent pas car cela fait partie de la découverte du lieu... Notre chambre double assez petite mais dans le style Hansel et Gretel était confortable, celles de nos enfants dans un esprit plus bateau toujours tout en bois avait en plus une jolie vue sur le jardin et son grand bain "spa" en pierre naturel. Le petit dej était original et excellent avec une super vue sur l'océan ! PS : nous avons diner dans un resto tout proche sur le port également très bien mais assez cher. Bravo et merci Andy
