Friendly staff, especially Gill who made up my room. Very clean and comfy couldn't fault it. Just as I needed on my trip south.

The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was very comfortable, it was nice to have tea/coffee making facilities, and the reception staff were very friendly - will definitely stay here again

Reasonably priced and convenient, you get a warm welcome and help from reception - especially if Garry’s on duty! Upstairs has been pleasantly renovated , but there’s still a bath tub, which is great - with lots of hot water. Although it’s in a busy area, there are trees to look out at and birdsong to cheer you. The room is presented well, with input from Gill and Becky(?) with team leader Tracey. Thank you, Everyone!

They have a systems fault where they are not accepting payments/bookings. I have checked with my bank and everything is in order they suggest the fault is with Travelodge. I have tried to contact them but they say that it is taking two days to get back to potential customers, which is too late and to me that suggests a certain amount of contempt for their customers. I will look else where for a hotel for this trip and in future.

Our second visit to this Travelodge. Great base to explore the area and handy for eaterys. Toby carvery next door. Room was clean and smelled fresh when we arrived( Thank you Gill. ) We only met one front of house staff a young man called Harry. What a credit he is to the company. Very pleasant and professional young man. Cheers Harry!!.

Unexpected Oasis Staff, management and front of house so professional, ploite and amicable....nothing too much, can I say a very special thankyou to Amy whom made my stay exceptional ....helping with taxis and comprehensive local knowledge. Very good hotel nice and cosy and just a few min walk to the local shops all the staff are very friendly and helpful want to give a special shout out to Harry and Amy for all their help made us feel very welcome thank you both hope to return soon thank you

Shut out to Amy for being very welcoming and the room refurbishment upgrade of this Travelodge has improved.Bed is very comfortable new chair is lovely and warm.Carpet is very well maintained.Hotel is pretty quiet and one improvement they can do is with the shower pressure as it is too low.Otherwise thanks
