"We were recommended Barrow Lodge for our stay in Tralee, wow, in all of my 70 years, I have never experienced a welcoming as incredible as this! Clodagh, who owns Barrow Lodge, is so warm and welcoming and is everything you have ever heard about how friendly and beautiful the Irish community are. The rooms are lovely and spacious and clean, the beds are large and comfortable, as are the pillows and the view from the rooms are a pleasure on the eyes. Our breakfast was wonderful; Alex the cook is not only a brilliant cook, she too is a warm lovely lady and her home made bread and cakes are so tasty. If you are travelling to the most beautiful part of Ireland, this is the place to base yourself and if you like golf (not for us) it is five minutes walk from Tralee golf course. So basically you’ll be in heaven. But my recommendation, is that to feel welcome and wanted and relaxed, Clodagh is the person. When we return there is no question of where we are staying, it’s Barrow Lodge, 100%. Thank you Clodagh and Alex, you made my wife and I, and our friends feel so welcome, you warmed our hearts xxx."

"Excellent breakfasts with a stunning view of the lake. A cozy place, but the hotel bills itself as a spa, yet the pool is small and cold, and the tiles are old and peeling. The jacuzzi didn't work. There's no hammam or spa in the relaxation area. They can sometimes provide one separately, as a compliment, but it's located separately. Also, we paid extra for a lake view, but there was a cemetery right in front of it. Such nuances should be mentioned; they ruined the atmosphere."

"Just a great place to stay at the Circle of Kerry! Great Service, delicious food for Dinner and Breakfast, cute Deer at night and even some amazing ruins just out the door! Definetly make a reservation for the SPA area, with Jacuzzi, Sauna and the most exiting showers you ever will experience! Rooms very clean and big, beds comfortable and bathroom very nice! "What a wonderful experience we had at Barrow Lodge. The host is such a wonderful lady. Clodagh was just lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Her staff are wonderful as well. The food is magnificent (Thankyou Alex) The rooms are exceptional, clean, very comfortable and beautifully maintained. The location was easy to find and get to with stunning views. Highly recommended staying at Barrow Lodge. Clodagh is a lovely lady. We hit it off with her immediately. She is so nice and had given us fantastic memories to take with us.
