Premier Inn Keswick ★★★

"Very clean room, exceptionally comfortable bed. Room was very quiet we did not hear any noise from inside or outside of the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with a good range of items, coffee was really good. Location is ideal for the centre of Keswick. The car park situation was not made clear at the time of booking but we read reviews before we went and so did not attempt to park there. During our stay we clarified the situation with hotel staff who confirmed that there is a grace period if you enter and leave quickly, eg because there are no spaces, you will not be charged. The car park is too small for the number of rooms, it is camera controlled by a 3rd party operator. The Charging is £13 flat fee for up to 24hrs. You can leave and re-enter in this time period however there is no guarantee that if you leave there will be a space on re-entry and having paid £13 you may then need to find another car park and pay another fee."

It is a good choice for quiet and leisure. I like Keswick very much"

"Just a quick review of The Brookfield guest house at Keswick. Stayed for one night in Feb as a couple with our golden retriever. Easy to find and you can park across the road up a quiet country lane. Lauren welcomed us upon arrival and made us very comfortable showing us to our room and giving us what we needed to know. The room was huge and en suite and even had a sofa ! Literally everything you could need was in the room from tea n coffee to towels and torches...the room was warm and the bedding superb. Breakfast was amazing with cereals, fruits, cheese..full English or whatever you wanted. Took about twenty minutes to walk into Keswick via old railway line but i have a dodgy knee so more reasonably 10 to 15. Definitely go again. Lovely little place."

"NEGATIVES. Bedbugs .. and bites We have lots of bites on the back, legs, arms, head from sleeping on the bed. Dated furniture, not like the photos shown on booking sites Cold.. only has heating on certain times, and the bedroom heater doesn't work. You can use old hot water bottles or a dirty old blanket. How does this place have a 4 star AA review Small poo or blood stain on bed sheet Very creased sheets Too many rules see photos fruit for breakfast.. I'm not sure how old it was.. awful.. see photos. Postive Breakfast 6 out of 10"
