Located along the garden route in Keurboomstrand, Picnic Rock offers three self-catering suites, two of which are mirrored images of each other offering two bedrooms and two bathrooms, both with direct beach access from their patios. The third unit is located directly above these two units, offering one bedroom and splendid views of the Keurbooms beaches.
Groups of up to 4 guests can choose between Nor' East - which offers a patio facing towards Natures Valley, and Sou' West - which offers a patio facing towards Robberg Nature Reserve, both of which are spacious and have modern decoration. Each unit has two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one of which is en-suite), a large open plan living-dining-kitchen area, a patio with under cover gas braai (BBQ) and direct beach access.
Couples are welcome to stay in Due South, with is magnificent views capturing the best of what both Nor’ East and Sou’ West have to offer, but from above. This unit has one bedroom with private bathroom, a spacious open-plan living-dining-kitchen area, a patio with under cover gas braai (BBQ) and there is also beach access downstairs from alongside the unit.
Meals can be prepared in the kitchens of the apartments or with the gas barbecue facilities provided on each of the private terraces and balconies. Guests can dine at the restaurant next door, 5-minutes’ walk away.
Canoeing and fishing is possible in the ocean and local attractions include Knysna Heads and Plettenberg Bay, both within a 30-minute drive from Picnic Rock Seaside Accommodations. Free private, undercover parking is available.

Again we had a wonderful, relaxing week at Due South, and are looking forward to our stay in 2026. The unit is clean and all your needs are catered for. The owners thought of everything in fitting out the kitchen and the bathroom. The staff is friendly and immediately responds on requests.

Incredible view, great amenities, friendly staff that are available for queries 24/7. The house is clean and comfortable with little thoughtful touches that make your stay even more memorable. Barely anything to complain about EXCEPT the building works in the surrounding area that really takes away from the experience.

The location of this property was amazing, with the best view in town. It was clean and well equipped. Our stay was wonderful, except for the fact that we were not advised of the building site literally on our doorstep. It was a struggle to drive in or out of the property, having to wait for diggers and trucks to move, sometimes waiting up to 20min. My husband was working during the day and the noise was terrible. Even on 01 May which was a public holiday. We thought we would get a bit of a break, but the builders carried on until after 5pm. It would have been lovely to just sit on the deck and enjoy the views, but it was best to leave and spend the day out. Very disappointing.

Eine wunderbare Fewo, direkt am langen Sandstrand von Keurboomstrand gelegen. Super eingerichtet, moderne Küche mit allem ausgestattet. Großes Schlafzimmer mit sehr bequemen Boxspringbett. Tolles Badezimmer. Sehr sauber und alles vorhanden, was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. Highlight ist die große Terrasse mit einem Wahnsinnsblick auf den Indischen Ozean. Kontakt mit Vermieter völlig unkompliziert, antwortet sofort. 100% Empfehlung. Sehr praktisch ist die Nähe zum Restaurant "Enrico", wenn man nicht selber kochen möchte.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Picnic Rock (Due South unit). The accommodation is top notch. Due South is ideally suited for a romantic break away or for a couple who just want to enjoy life on the slow lane. To sit on that patio with the sea meters away, is my definition of paradise. The location can't be beaten any place on earth. We will be back!

Picnic Rock is definitely the place to stay in Keurboomstrand. It is by far the best place we visited on any seaside holiday. Views to die for, dolphins visiting almost every day, beautiful, well equipped and spacious apartment, friendly hosts and staff, you name it ! Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of crushing waves right on your doorstep, food for the soul ! Highly recommended !!

In 2022 we only were visit the beach and made the plan to stay there for some days in 2023. So, that did work out very well and we were very happy with this appartement. The place is just at the rigth spot and we had a really nice time staying there. It´s very clean and in good shape, the terrace and the view is amazing. And the restaurant next doors offers very nice food but at the same time it does not distrub the quiteness of the appartement. Weaking up and sleeping in to the sound of the ocean only is just so nice. We´ll come back for sure.

EXCELLENT located on the beach front , has all you need including dstv and WI - FI , next door to enrico restaurant , x2 bedrooms sleeps x4 we are a family of x3 , open plan great views waking up with the roar of the sea , just bring your own food and drinks as its situated in keurboomstrand just outside of plettenberg bay
