Two stars is generous. Relatively inexpensive place to stay in the Keys but you get what you pay for. We had a king room with sofa and marina view. Well, we didn’t have sofa so asked about it and were told they could move us but we’d lose the view that we paid extra for. Not having anywhere to sit was really inconvenient. Then there came a putrid smell from the room next to us that lingered for hours and hours. So much so that it began seeping into our room and we had to use towels to block the space between the floor and door. Then our tub began to back up when we showered. We notified the front desk but that never got fixed. Taking a shower while your own filth fills up at your feet is extremely gross. One evening we had a person darn near body check into our door causing the safety latch to open up halfway. Then we noticed we didn’t have a peep hole and that had been broken and someone just shoved what looked like toilet paper in the hole—not too secure. The doors to the balcony were worn out and hard to open. Not only difficult but you really have to put some oomph behind it to open and close. Well, when you do unfortunately all the rooms around you also hear that. We heard balcony doors opening and closing at all hours of the night which was pretty inconvenient since we had early morning plans most days. Housekeeping could have been better, the room overall was not all that clean. The pool was fine, we got in once briefly. Being a titanium elite member with over 1.5 million points, I just expected more than what was delivered. The positive: the bed was comfortable (pillows were pathetic), and the staff was friendly. That’s about the only nice things I have to say about the hotel itself.

We stayed here for one night during our Florida Keys road trip. The outdoor area, pool, and access to the marina were beautiful. However, we found that the hotel itself was lacking in modern amenities. The beds were worn and uncomfortable. The bathroom was in need of some general maintenance and the towels given to us had multiple stains on them. We felt that the price we paid for the room was a bit steep, given the presence of these fixable issues.

It is in need of a major upgrade. The lobby is very nice the outdoor area is very nice but the room, at least 304 and hallways need a major upgrade if they want to charge those prices. The view from our balcony was very beautiful and the staff was great. The one and only onsite eating is a hotel Starbucks, it was very busy in the morning with a very nice gentleman who unfortunately had physical limitations and an elderly woman who was doing her best. Other than that breakfast is a walk around the marina or a car drive away. It was our anniversary and we did receive a nice surprise dessert in our room upon arrival, we don’t like fudge cake but the gesture was very nice. Locations is perfect for any type of boating activity. If you’re not into boating then this hotel is not the best choice. Skippers Restaurant is a short walk away and it’s a great spot but not open for breakfast and it gets really busy after 6 pm.

I had a great experience at the Courtyard Key Largo. The staff was great. My room was huge and I especially enjoyed the balcony overlooking the pool / marina and the extremely comfortable bed. There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here.

After reading some poor reviews, we were a little concerned about our stay here. However, we were really pleased with the hotel and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and bright and housekeeping came daily. We enjoyed the pools which were quiet and great that we could use neighbouring hotel’s pools too. The staff were all lovely and worked really hard to ensure guests had a nice stay. Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh at the counter. The guy cooking g breakfast was so friendly and helpful and the ladies at the counter were lovely. Fresh water and cookies in reception were very welcome. Really couldn’t fault the hotel and would stay again.
