Ugab Terrace Lodge

Unbelievable views, clean and neat accommodation, friendly staff, the dinner was outstanding, breakfast average. Overall a great stay.

L'arrivée en pente très raide stresse un peu et on se demande où on est tombés..... On est vite rassuré car la vue sur les monts rocheux est superbe . La terrasse offre une vue splendide. L'accueil semble peu dynamique mais s'avère sympathique par la suite. Les lodges sont très beaux et offrent une vue extraordinaire . La wifi est top et la meilleure de tout notre séjour. La nourriture est correcte et le déjeuner bien achalandé. Beau souvenir

We stayed one night as part of our tour and thoroughly enjoyed the views and relaxed atmosphere. Each unit is self contained with big windows to see the valley below. Buffet meals had good variety and licensed bar. Rooms are comfortable with AC or extra blankets. In room safe. Free wifi.

We had the pleasure to spent a night at the camp site as well as in the lodge. The camp site is so conveniently located and you have everything you need on site, including your own ablution facilities. To top it all it is the first camp site I came across with its own washing line. The view from both the camp site and lodge are breathtaking. The lodge is located on top of the hill with a 360 view. The food are divine and the rooms very comfortable with a fantastic view. This is also the first lodge I came across with electricity points in their parking area, allowing us to keep our fridges on charge. The zipline experience was wonderful and the view from up there out of this world. All staff are very friendly. This is a lodge and camp site I will recommend to everyone!

The rooms were very small and had very limited amenities, we found the staff at the reception ok on arrival but those working in the food area were very rude. When I asked as to what Gluten Free food options the staff member actually rolled their eyes and made a huffing noise as they walked off. On there return they provided 2 slices of crumbling gluten free bread as the option. Other foods available in the buffet were not gluten free or had been cross contaminated. The facility could improve significantly if the staff dropped the attitude.

Camped allover Namibia and this was definitely my favorite camping spot and lodge. The road was nerve wrecking exciting and the zipline was the best one ever. Beer was ice cold and with an amazing view of the Vingerklip and almost the whole of Namibia.
