Super Lage,tolle Aussicht,naheliegende Besichtigungen.Toller Guide bei der Elefantensuche .Jetzt zur Loge es gibt viele Dinge die im Service unzureichend sind die einfach und schnell zu lösen wären.Verklebte Salatsoßendeckel kann man Kannen nehmen.Platzsets die schmuddelig sind und Kaugummi am Bett .Alles sehr nachlässig. Es ist ja auch nicht ganz so günstig dort . Also sehr viel Bedarf zur Besserung.

Wir waren auf einer selbst organisierten Rundreise durch Namibia für eine Nacht in der Twyfelfontain Country Lodge. Wenn man selbst fährt, ist ein Allradantrieb erforderlich und man sollte ausreichend Zeit einplanen um auf jeden Fall die Lodge noch bei Tageslicht zu erreichen. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, wir hatten ein kleineres Problem an unserem Fahrzeug das sie dort sofort für uns behoben haben. Das Abendessen bestand aus einem Buffet, außerdem hatten wir einen persönlichen Kellner für unseren Tisch, der uns Wein und Getränke brachte. Unser Zimmer war eher klein, aber sehr komfortabel mit einem schönen Blick in die Landschaft. Es hatte eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage, die wir aufgrund der Außentemperaturen auch gerne genutzt haben. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir in der Lodge eine Safari gebucht auf der uns der Fahrer zu einer Herde freilebender Elefanten gebracht hat, das war auf jeden Fall eines der Highlights auf unserer Reise und gemessen am Zeitaufwand sehr preiswert. Insgesamt kann ich die Lodge uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

What a wonderful, magic place. Being here for the 3rd time my friends and me were excited about the setting of the lodge, the nature drives to see the desert elefants and the kindest staff you can imagine. Sitting in the scenic lounge bar, having a cold drink after a exciting day is just like in heaven. Take your time and stay 3 nights!!

Visited as a stopover point on journey to Etosha and it was a delightful setting among the rocky landscape. The room was spacious and clean and had good views of the deseryt countryside. The main building featured a bar on the first level which was beautifully adorned with African rosewood furniture and an ideal place to relax with a drink before dinner. The dinner buffet on the top floor was very tasty and featured a good range of foods and chicken, pork and lamb cooked on a josper grill whilst giving good views of the surrounding landscape. Pleasant pool and rock iguanas and small furry animals scuttled around in the background and made for some interesting photographs. Some rock engravings visisble on the site by Ceremony rock. Staff attentive and efficient. Parking is some way from reception area and with the chalets being spread out it can be a long and hot walk to the main building.

Very nice lodge , superb food some of the best we have eaten in Namibia ! Wonderful location and lovely staff. We did a great game drive with Rheinhaldt to see the desert elephants ! Super drive , very informative kind would highly recommend asking for him ! Only negative which many reviewers remark on is having to pay for wifi !
