WARNING! GUARANTEED NIGHTMARE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
If you dream of Vietnam's culture, coffee, fruits, and food, this so-called "hotel" will be your worst nightmare. It shattered my dreams, leaving only disgust and deep disappointment.
I. FOOD: DANGEROUS TO HEALTH AND DISGUSTING
Coffee: Forget real Vietnamese coffee. They serve a bitter, tasteless imitation.
Food (Breakfast): Meals caused heartburn and nausea, like "Russian roulette." Symptoms vanished when eating elsewhere. This is worse than budget tour food.
Fruits: Poor selection: tasteless tangerines, rock-hard guava, warm watermelon, and bananas that looked like animal feed. No variety.
Flies: At breakfast, flies were all over the openly displayed food. Guests tried to wave them away; staff saw this and did absolutely nothing, showing complete indifference.
Leftovers: Stale, day-old pâté and cheese were served – this is biological waste.
Bringing Your Own Food: Tellingly, guests brought THEIR OWN FOOD to breakfast. The hotel's food is so inedible.
Dinner: A small, repetitive menu. Drinks cost extra. Depressing presentation, small portions, and very mediocre taste.
II. ROOM: FILTH, UNSANITARY CONDITIONS, AND MALFUNCTIONS (FAR FROM 5 STARS!)
Plumbing: Constant problems. On arrival, the toilet flush was broken. After a "repair," the bidet shower leaked, flooding the floor; the puddle and wet towel were not cleaned until the next day. The shower head also leaked badly from its connection.
Breakages: The towel rack was half torn off the wall. The bathtub drain was broken and unusable until we complained multiple times.
Mold: The swimsuit drying rack in the bathroom was full of black mold, meaning drying clothes there infects them with fungus.
Water: In a self-proclaimed "5-star" room, drinking water was almost non-existent. Only two small bottles provided, barely enough for brushing teeth. At breakfast, they try to SELL you tea/coffee at high prices. The paid mini-bar had very little drinking water, focusing on alcohol and sugary drinks.
Shaving Kits: The disposable razors are terrible – impossible to shave without getting cut.
III. GROUNDS & ATMOSPHERE: BOREDOM, DIRT, AND LACK OF CULTURE
Entertainment: None. You either get bored in the hotel or have to find activities elsewhere.
Dirt: Piles of dirty dishes with leftover food sat in hallways for days, smelling awful and attracting insects.
Guest Behavior & Staff Inaction: Expect uncultured behavior from many guests (e.g., using hands in communal food, dropping food on the floor and putting it back, children sitting on dining tables, loud music on the beach). The staff did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about this total disregard for hygiene and basic manners.
IV. SERVICE: COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER FOCUS AND GREED
Late Check-out: The hotel was less than half full. When our flight was rescheduled, we asked for a 3-4 hour late check-out. They demanded we PAY FOR A FULL DAY. This is blatant greed and poor service, showing no customer care, especially when a gesture of goodwill would have cost them nothing.
Information: No information about services at check-in. We found out about the free shuttle to GrandWorld by accident after repeatedly asking staff. They also gave us wrong bus schedules for Safari and VinWonders.
V. VERDICT: NOT 5 STARS, BUT A COMPLETE FAILURE AND DISGRACE!
This hotel isn't just bad – it's disgusting. It doesn't deserve even three stars, let alone the claimed five. The advertised 5 stars are an outright lie. Staying here is repulsive and leaves a feeling of disgust.
STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! If you value your nerves, health, money, and want positive memories of Vietnam – AVOID THIS PLACE. It's a guaranteed way to ruin your entire vacation! Don't let this horrible place discourage you from exploring beautiful Vietnam - just choose a different hotel.
