If you’ve ever dreamed of camping indoors, congratulations, you’ve found your paradise! Why pitch a tent when you can just book a room here and enjoy that “wilderness vibe” from your soggy carpet? Ceiling tiles dangle overhead like they are ready to fall. The “ocean view”? Sure, if you can see through the thick layer of grime on the window. It’s like looking at the beach through a dirty fish tank. The carpet? Let’s just say it tells a story. One with dogs, accidents, and a cleaning crew that gave up years ago. Don’t expect fresh towels or a made bed either. They don’t bother cleaning the room daily. For extra excitement, our first night we didn’t even have a lock on our door. Nothing says “welcome” like realizing anyone could walk right in. To their credit, they did send someone up an hour later to install one. And don’t forget the wildlife! Millions of bugs hold nightly meet-ups right outside your door, buzzing happily around the vent. They are everywhere in the room. Dresser drawers, walls, sink, etc. We also tried the bistro. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to chew a leather belt shaped like tuna, you’re in luck. On the positive side, the bar staff was actually very friendly. Too bad they were the highlight of the entire stay.

Worst vacation experience I have ever had. I picked this hotel because it had decent reviews and the location was good. Booked a room for 4 nights. Upon arrival the hotel room had a musky odor and the temperature of the room was 80 degrees. Gave them the benefit of the doubt that the temperature would decrease after turning thermostat down. Woke up the next morning to the room being 85. Complaint was given to front desk & hours later had to complain about nobody coming to room to check on air conditioning. They flushed the pipes and temperature went down to 80. Next morning 82 and another Complaint given. Again, they flushed the line and temperature went down to 78. An hour later temperature back to 85. Complained to front desk again and they gave me another room. That room was even hotter. Went again around 10pm and asked if there was any rooms with the same accommodation that actually had air conditioning. They had 1 on the 2nd floor of their main building but not ocean front and much much smaller. Due to the heat I changed rooms but lost the bigger room with ocean fron and the room was in much worse shape cosmetically. Manager never contacted me back with money back on the difference of the room cost and no compensation or apology was ever given for the 1st room and 2 nights we stayed in the sauna room. This place is in desperate need of repair and upgrades along with an exterminator. Room had bugs, refrigerator wouldn’t cool enough to put food in and the carpet was moist.

Can’t beat the location and right on the beach. Everyone at the front desk and other staff were very friendly, check in was very excellent. Disappointed from call I made to secure a unit close to elevator due to bad knee and recent spinal surgery, was assured I was moved upon check in I was NOT. Cons: seems overall needs an update on the following: Bathtub caulking and re painting of tubs one was chipping off Ceilings over bathtub and bedroom peeling off Adding hand held shower adapters, it’s quite hard to get sand washed out of all cracks and crevasses without one Better job cleaning bathrooms in corners of floors and walls around toilets Cabinets needs wiped down Kitchen floor needs replaced lots of stains looks dingy makes you feel it’s dirty NOT enough living room furniture for 5 people, sofa very uncomfortable and I was laughing and tilted head back and really bumped my head hard on the back of sofa not softly padded at all, ouch! Coffee table paint chipped off, a little touch up paint goes a long way Refrigerator handles very dirty/grimmy, inside was adequately clean. One bottom cabinet door hinge broken, when opening that door it falls to floor, if foot in the wrong place OUCH, and if a small child opened that cabinet, oh boy! Elevators could be wiped down Overall didn’t feel pride of ownership/management

Perfect location, great room on the fifth floor with a balcony, what a view! We received champagne, chocolates, and breakfast daily at their restaurant. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. I can't imagine a better hotel with this view and at this rate!

Disgusting. Room on first floor smelled like really bad musty mildew. Put air conditioner on high in hopes the stench would go away. We didn't even shower because there was sand in the dated bathtub and there was a sock left in the room from the previous guest. The worst was I left a muffin in a plastic container on the top of the dresser where the tv was and next morning there were a gazillion ants all over the place. Gross! NEVER stay here.

Easily the worst vacation I’ve had in my life roaches everywhere room 90 degrees literally haven’t slept a day since we have been here. Please no one ever books this trash ass hotel it should be shut down immediately!!! Employees lie and tell you what you want to hear ! Can’t leave ur balcony door open because the roaches will literally flow right in . Driving home on the 4th because I can’t take it no more but what a trash ass place
