I live in Kingston and came for the weekend to celebrate my 23rd wedding anniversary. Truthfully I had never heard of this place but saw the reviews online and wanted to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The bed and breakfast is nestled into the mountainside and has exquisite views of the Blue Mountains. It is rustic and no frills but clean and welcoming from the moment you step foot on the premises. We were treated with the utmost hospitality and the food was spectacular! We needed this true rest and relaxation to replenish and recharge. If you are looking for a not too expensive get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life this is the place for you!

I stayed one night at RafJam with my mom. The property was gorgeous! There was a steam flowing through the side and rear or the property and had a cool dripping area and two mini falls. The sound of the stream, birds and beautiful flora and fauna was accident perfect for the relaxing trip we were looking for.
We pre ordered dinner and breakfast was served. Both delicious.
The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and exceeded my expectations in this area.
Suzanne the owner and Shane were very welcoming and helpful.
I would absolutely stay here again but LONGER and recommend to anyone looking for something off the beaten path.
Finding the place was a bit difficult and would recommend a call to the property before heading out and getting additional directions. There was also construction when we visited but that didn’t interrupt our trip.
Book today and stay awhile and enjoy nature at this naturally beautiful property.

Ein kleines Paradies. Aber kläre die Zufahrt ab. Lass dich abholen oder habe ein gutes Auto für die Strasse abseits der Newcastle Road (dirt road) und es gibt nur 1 Parkplatz! Sehr familiär und in der Natur. Jamaikanisches Frühstück war hervorragend.

What a wonderful hidden peaceful haven of nature and tranquility in the most stunning setting. We stopped by Rafjam in a walk from Irish Town. We only stayed for a look around and a quick drink but were welcomed so warmly by Shaun and Susan who have clearly created the most unique and stylish accommodation. We were given a tour of the rooms and facilities and we are highly impressed. Rafjam will be top of our places to stay on our next visit and we will be booking the ‘Cave Room’. Want to know more…go stay 😊

Ce qui est surtout magnifique c’est l’endroit une fois atteins car c’est en plein cœur de la nature. La végétation, les différentes espèces de plantes, c’est hyper ressourçant. Par contre il faut absoluement un 4x4 pour s’y rendre car la route est désastreuse. (On a crevé en pleine montée, il fait vraiment bien conduire pour y aller avec une citadine) du coup, impossible de bouger de là bas avec la petite voiture, ce qui fait qu’on a prit 4 bières et 2 plats locaux pour 85 dollars. C’est abusé.
On avait réservé une chambre face au fleuve, balcon, en payant un supplément et on s’est retrouvé dans une chambre sans charme face à un immeuble en travaux. Quel dommage ces incommodations car le l’environnement est top.

L’endroit est exceptionnel, une rivière coule le long de l’établissement et la végétation est grandiose. L’établissement et son intérieur sont vraiment décoré avec deux goûts. Idem pour les chambres. Nous avons été surclassé. Les déjeuners sont très corrects, il y a possibilité également de dîner sur place.

Difficult to access gem
Really cool spot with a waterfall and small swimming pool on the property. No AC, but fans and cool open rooms. It’s a very difficult and long windy road to get here. Ensure that you let them know that you will want dinner before arriving as there is no where else to eat.
