"The Rocky Farm is very unique, was surrounded by tall and great cliff, and have few pond in the farm.
The farm is far from city, its quiet and can hear the birds and insects chirping.
The scenery and experience is good and relaxing, and the owner is very kind and helpful."

"The location is superb. Room is clean but more care shld be taken on the cleanliness of the toilet. Saw the housekeeping people sitting around rather than doing a gd cleaning job. The breakfast has to improve. We had fried rice for both days, luckily on the 2nd day there are gardenia bread as well."

"The hotel is newly launched and so the room and the environment is clean and nice. The room we stayed in is a twin bedroom it has all the necessary amenities including a mini fridge, mini safe and a hair dry blower. The room despite its very small size amazingly fits in a sofa bed as well.
Some of the facilities including the games room are not functioning yet, but it has a pool and a 24 hour gym.
The hotel is located very near to the many famous restaurants and hawker stalls such as Ipoh Tong Shui Kai and Dim Sum shops and a 5min walk to a shopping complex, hence makes it very convenient to find good food and shopping.
Overall it is a good stay and I would recommend it to others for a short staycation in Ipoh.
Psst, the welcome lounge has a free coffee machine 24/7 for the guests, which it's totally awesome!"

"PROS: Great location, close to lots of eateries (within walking distance). Helpful staff deliver requested items promptly. Returned my cash deposit within 10 minutes I checked out (they needed to send someone up to the suite to do an inspection before the deposit could be returned). Lots of free parking in the building. Very new and clean facility with nice size swimming pool and gym. Rooms are spacious and have a clean kitchen + clean kitchenware, and a washer (but no washing powder). CONS: Cars enthusiasts park their cars beside the building on Saturdays, playing really loud music that can be heard in your suite (even on 13th floor) until 3am!! The hotel operates by sharing space with the owner of residential units. On the same floor, you may see some units' doors have different style of lock. So, the building is like a regular apartment. The hallway is not carpeted, When people dragging their luggage in the hallway, it can be loud."

Apartment Features:
The apartment I stayed in was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It had an open-concept layout that combined a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy dining nook. The kitchen had all the essentials—fridge, stove, microwave, and even a washing machine, making it perfect for longer stays. The living room had a large flat-screen TV and comfy seating, creating a great space for relaxation. The bedroom was cozy with a large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a clean, modern feel with a spacious shower and high-quality amenities. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with Ipoh’s warm weather.
Service:
While staying at The Cove Hillside, I felt like I had the best of both worlds—privacy and comfort, but with access to excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering quick check-in/check-out and always willing to help with any requests. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping the apartment spotless during my stay. AAbiiiiiI recently stayed at WEIL Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, and overall, it has been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and service smooth and pleasant. The room was clean and well-maintained, with high-quality toiletries—especially the shampoo and the nicely scented body lotion, which was a lovely touch.
The breakfast buffet was decent with a fair selection, and the overall environment of the hotel felt relaxing and chill—perfect for a short getaway.
One downside, however, is the parking situation. Since the hotel shares a parking area with Ipoh Parade Mall, it can get quite congested, especially during peak hours. It’s a bit inconvenient to have to queue with mall visitors just to park at the hotel. Also, a few of the parking machines seem to need servicing or an upgrade.
Despite the parking issue, I would definitely recommend WEIL Hotel for anyone visiting Ipoh—it’s comfortable, stylish, and offers good value for the quality you get.

FFoong YeeLocation is good , average 6 mins to Ipoh parade and to city center. It has own basement car park . Room is spacious , bed is ok. Breakfast variety is average. No bottle water provided in room but there is water jug and water machine at each floor. The minus part is the bathroom. No flexible hand held shower head . No door for shower screen. I wonder how the housekeeping clean the bathroom and shower screen and tiles if the only shower head is not removable. Use towel? That's disgusting . And the rooms facing main road is too noisy. Woken up by the early morning traffic.

LLinnetLocation was superb , really just next to Tambun . By few steps.
so easy go get there & all instruction to get the key is easy.
There is no shops or convenient shops that is walking distance, but there is a supermaket nearby, can just call grab to reach there.
The amenities was only like toothbrush toothpaste plates, utensils and also one kettle remember there is no microwave cannot cook inside so remember to buy food standby food you cannot cook even an instant noodles there so if you're hungry in the middle of the night make sure you have food ready because as I say it earlier on there is no shop no nothing there, no complimentary water as well so if you want to rent here, make sure you bring your water & food supplies. What you can do is only boil water. other than that everything seems good but the tenant need to be extra K on the cleanliness of the place. The bed was okay. The pillow and the bed was comfy. Air-conditioning all working well the living room room was comfortable comfortable is just that the cleanliness of the toilet have to be taken care more I think the cleaner didn't really clean the washroom. You can see watermarks here and day seems like it was not clean for ages. You can see the watermark so obvious. Make me feel so disgusting and you can see the clothes for what the table is so dirty there's no other clothes only one clothes to wipe the pebble no I didn't use that. It was disgusting. Other than that. I was happy with the place would be appreciate if the tenant at least can ready something to cook at least instant noodles because there is no shops there if I want to come back, I will still stay there. That is the best place to stay the nearest to Tambun.

YYingThere was an unexpected incident that the door lock was out of battery and we could not open the room door at 1am++. We went out for gathering during CNY and came back at around midnight 1am. Due to the issue, we waited for more than 1 hour at lobby. The staff tried his best to open the door but failed to open it. I know it was not the fault of the staff. Then, we got offered to another temporary room but the thing to highlight was our luggage and pyjamas were left in the room that was locked out and we were really tired at the time. Need to improve on regular checking on the door battery to avoid this kind of issue again. Overall, it is clean and staff are friendly.

Only downside was the parking at the basement without lift. It's a bit troublesome for an old man or disable person to use staircase to the lobby.

1 unit of hotel lift under constructions and the drilling noise start at 10.00am.

GGuest Userthis is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me?
second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us.
during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.
