This was a night away with my cousin to have a child free time. We had a really wonderful experience at the Dundas Arms. The room was lovely clean and comfortable with everything you need.. the location was beautiful and we enjoyed a walk along the canal. There was live music in the bar and we enjoyed a lovely glass of wine.. breakfast was included with our price and it was absolutely 10 out of 10 delicious everything was fresh and local. I’m booked to go back again because it was so lovely..

Over charged us and still waiting for a refund! Don’t stay here! Dirty rooms. Inexperienced staff. Food poor. Service shocking. Lumpy uncomfortable bed. Smell of kitchen food in your room all day and night. No hearing so woke up cold 3 times throughout the night.

We were completely ignored by three members of staff behind the bar. It doesn’t take much effort to acknowledge your customers, even if you are busy! Staff training needs to improve. We felt completely unwelcome, and eventually decided to walk out.

A lovely country pub / hotel with most welcoming staff. We had a most enjoyable quality evening meal after a couple of drinks in the pub bar.
Full of local folk who were most friendly

Comfortable
Very comfortable room, nice touches with water, good quality ground coffee, a cafetiere and what looked like home made cookies. Staff gave us a small flask of fresh milk. Our room had an outside seating area with a lovely view over the river at the back.
