Relais & Châteaux Hotel Tennerhof

We verbleven afgelopen zomer in Tennerhof en hadden toen een fantastische ervaring, daarom besloten we terug te keren. Helaas was deze keer een grote tegenvaller. We boekten dezelfde suite als vorige keer, maar deze was aanzienlijk minder mooi, met een kleine badkamer en gordijnen in de woonkamer die maar liefst 30 cm te kort waren – iets wat je niet verwacht in een 5-sterrenhotel dat €715 per nacht kost. Daarnaast waren er geen koffie- of theefaciliteiten op de kamer, wat een gemis is in deze prijsklasse. Het hotel leek volledig gericht op het bedienen van een grote groep luidruchtige gasten, waardoor de sfeer en service niet meer hetzelfde waren als in de zomer. Het personeel was grotendeels anders en lang niet zo vriendelijk als tijdens ons vorige verblijf. Gelukkig was de dame in de bar een uitzondering – zij was geweldig. Voor ons helaas geen Tennerhof meer.

I was here this past weekend with friends for four nights. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to anybody looking to come to Kitzbuhel. From the time we arrived to the time we left all staff were gracious, welcoming, and happy to see us. We particuarly liked Timae, as others have noted. She was fabulous in the bar and made sure we had delicious drinks and great conversation every time we went. Highly recommend finding her! Breakfast every morning was delicious with a ton of options, both buffet and made to order. My room - number 14 - was comfortable. Great big comfortable bed, nice shower that had great pressure and hot water, and great views over the valley towards the mountains. We had dinner one night at the Romerhof restaurant and enjoyed the fondue. This hotel is removed from town, so we appreciated the shuttle service that took us every day to the ski lifts. Just wish that the shuttle also operated at night for going out to eat. Overall, my friends and I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it - cannot wait to return!

This hotel looks like it was plucked from an actual fairytale. The decor is luxurious yet comfortable, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating and the food and drinks were top notch. From the time we pulled up until our check out, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The check in and check out process was very easy. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a small bite after a long day of traveling. The bar in the lobby is the perfect place for a nightcap or a drink before dining in the beautiful restaurants. The bartender there, Timae, made cocktails and humored us until the wee hours of the morning. Our room was clean and spacious and had a lovely view of the gondolas. The bed was comfortable. The seating area had some small chocolates and little sweets for us to enjoy as well as two big bottles of water. We ate fondue and drank champagne at the restaurant down the hill where the cheese was hot and delicious and the champagne was cold. We also had the pleasure of eating some traditional food in the main restaurant. There was an aged Reisling on the menu that paired beautifully with the schnitzel. Overall this hotel lives up to its stellar reputation. I can't wait to go back.

We have stayed at the Hotel Tennerhof for the second year in a row. It is a stunning property - well appointed with historic Tyrollean charm but featuring all modern necessities. The staff are exceptional. We love this hotel - it is a special place

Gepflegtes Familienhotel in bester Lage. Super schönes kleines FamilienHotel in bester Lage. Sehr gepflegt. Tolles Frühstück. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer gebucht, bei uns war leider das Dach vis a vis. Wir hatten nur Teilsicht, das stand in der Buchung nicht. Beim Buchen nachfragen! Toller Pool. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und bemüht. Wenn ich ehrlich bin, es ist für mich persönlich eher vier Stern, aber super schön. Lage, Service, Sauberkeit sind Top.
