This quaint Inn was a perfect place to call home as we explored the Redwood parks. Our room overlooked the river with many wildlife sightings. The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were helpful. Be sure to check out the amazing view from the overlook about 1/2 mile down the road. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a quaint, calm retreat from yesteryear in a beautiful spot on the mouth of the Klamath River. Get a room with vistas of the river and observe the fog moving in at dusk and out in the morning hours. The innkeeper and their crew are friendly and helpful. The Inn rooms are well appointed and you might want to enjoy the communal hot tub. The Requa Inn is a great launching spot for explorations of the magnificent Redwood State Park nearby. The only challenge: If you would like a more refined dinner, the closest options are in Crescent City 30 minutes by car away--or actually better: either in Brookings to the North, or Trinidad to the South, each an hour by car away from the Inn.

Great old fashioned country inn with 14 guest rooms and very comfortable lobby for hangin out. Service is personable and outstanding. Great location in the middle of all the Redwood National and State Parks. Breakfast is wonderful. Great view of the Klamath river 1/3 mile from the ocean. Quiet, peaceful, a ways away from the main highway. But right on the side road so the infrequent car that goes by to a spectacular ocean overlook or handful of homes can be loud.

Simply awesome. The Inn, built in 1914, could not be in a nicer setting overlooking the Klamath River. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable, and many have a direct river view. Since sawdust was used to insulate between the Redwood logs during original construction, there is some very minor noise between rooms. The owner and all associates who assisted her were very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was fantastic as well. If you want to get away and relax, or have a great base to explore the Redwoods, this is a fantastic option.

My wife, 17 yr old daughter, and I enjoyed 3 glorious nights at the Historic Requa Inn last month. The hotel is charming and was the perfect location for us to explore the Redwoods State and National Parks to the north and south of the Klamath River. Breakfast each day was the best we've ever had. Janet, the owner/innkeeper, and her staff were always friendly and helpful. Beds EXTREMELY comfortable... creaking floors and claw-footed tub just added to the charm. Highly recommend.

The place was amazing and we were supposed to have a private deck. Because it wasn’t marked too well, we had to shoo people away that we were sitting on our deck when we came outside to enjoy it. Otherwise, the day was great!

We had a wonderful stay at the Requa inn. The hotel is warm and welcoming, the comforts are all exceptional (our bed was so comfortable we slept like we haven’t slept in a long time), we spent time by the fire playing chess at night, watched the sun set at Klamath overlook (we heard sea-lions and saw grey whales from the overlook as well), and relaxed in the hot tub after a long hike in the wonderful redwood state park nearby. Breakfasts was simple but delicious and their homemade toast is FABULOUS. We will absolutely be back for another great stay and I will recommend a stay for anyone looking for a great place to relax and recharge.

A sign at the entrance reads “Relax, you’re at the Requa” and that summed it up for me. Relaxing, charming and an incredible view. A river view room is a must. While breakfast is not included it is worth the very reasonable price - it’s excellent!
