Das New Coconut auf Koh Lanta eignet sich perfekt für einen entspannten Urlaub. Die Bungalows sind modern und komfortabel eingerichtet und verfügen über Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank und einen Wasserkocher. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Familien mit Kindern sind willkommen, halten sich aber meist am Pool auf, so dass die Atmosphäre ruhig und entspannt bleibt. Partys gibt es hier keine. Das abendliche Fisch-BBQ am Strand ist ein Highlight und das Personal ist gut organisiert, freundlich und hilfsbereit - was kaum zu unterschätzen ist. Der Strand ist lang und sandig und es gibt kostenlose Strandliegen. Allerdings zieht sich das Meer bei Ebbe weit zurück. Schwimmen ist also nur zu bestimmten Zeiten möglich, aber das ist eigentlich kein Problem. Wir würde wiederkommen!

For us (couple in their late 20’s) this was fantastic. We stayed 4 nights and regretted not staying more. The bungalow we stayed in was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Spacious bathroom and a great hammock out the front. If I had one complaint it would be that the seats on our little deck although look cool were very uncomfortable and that’s me being very picky. We loved that the bottled water provided each day was in recycled glass bottles. The pool and restaurant area are amazing. The deck to watch the sunset was an absolute highlight. The beach was not busy at all and the water was crystal blue. Each night they provide a bbq on the sand with options of local caught whole fish, prawns, squid, chicken/beef skewer and a help yourself buffet salad. We had this one night, got a whole pink snapper, 4 big tiger prawns, a coal roast potato and plenty of salad and paid roughly 300 baht all up. We were very impressed it was delicious. Cannot recommend this place more. Especially for families. We lazed by the pool in the afternoon and watched the tide go out and expose the rocks and sand of the sea floor. See the difference between low and high tide in my photos. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We rented a scooter through them and it was easy to do (250 baht a day), also booked our next movements to Trang through the office here too. All round great experience and place. It will be sad to see Lanta as a whole turn into a tourist hub. Go south to the national park and do the 2km walk. It was my favourite thing I’ve done here.

When we arrived to the hotel we found BED BUGS in our hotel room! When we asked to switch rooms, the staff was unapologetic and rude. After insisting, we switched rooms only to wake up with bites all over our stomach!!!

Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Zeit in einem sehr netten Ressort. Das Team ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Vor allem die Chefin ist klasse und kümmert sich um alle Wünsche! Lediglich das abgeschlossene Restaurant könnte besser sein, aber man muss ja dort nicht essen.

We stayed here for three nights in first week of January. It was a nice stay overally, staff was helpfull and nice from the beginning. and They organized us boat tickets and also we had scooter for a day, which was convenient to get that directly from hotel. Our accommodation was small 12 square meter bungalow : it was clean and in quite good shape, although bit dark and small. Price for that could be slightly lower. In the evening there was a fireshow just front of restaurant, and we had some tasty grilled fish.
