Escape-Cabins

Die Anlage an sich ist völlig in Ordnung. Das Problem sind die Besitzer John und Samantha. Wir, zwei Frauen aus Deutschland, hatten einen Bungalow mit zwei getrennten Betten für 23 Nächte gebucht, die auch bestätigt wurden. Vorgefunden haben wir ein Kingsizebett und ein Klappsofa (improvisiertes Notbett). Am nächsten Tag wurde nach Reklamationen und vielen Diskussionen eine neue Matratze (4900 Baht) und Tage später ein neuer Topper gestellt. Eine Woche lang wurden wir dermaßen von den Eignern belästigt, wer denn nun für die Kosten dieser Aufwendungen aufkommen soll. Dabei wurde nicht nur unsere Reiseagentur, sondern auch ******* mit Ausdrücken unter der Gürtellinie belegt. Das Fass wurde allerdings durch einen unglaublichen Vorfall noch zum Überlaufen gebracht. Es gab ein Problem mit unserem Safe im Zimmer (Schlüssel abgebrochen, musste mit 400 Baht bezahlt werden!) der nach unserer Rückkehr vom Strand durch John wieder entsperrt werden sollte. Zu unserem Entsetzen stellten wir jedoch nach unserer Rückkehr fest, dass der Safe bereits entsperrt, unsere Sachen durchwühlt und 300 Euro gestohlen wurden!!! Diese Summe, um die es John und Samantha die ganze Zeit ging. Wir hätten noch einiges mehr zu sagen, was allerdings den Rahmen sprengt. Aus vorgenannten Gründen und unter Berücksichtigung menschlichen Verhaltens und Versagens sowie fehlender Gastfreundlichkeit der Eigentümer empfehlen wir diese Anlage definitiv nicht.

Die Villa ist großartig. Die Lage ist perfekt, der Strand, Restaurants, Geschäfte alles ist zu Fuß in Minuten zu erreichen und trotzdem ist es total ruhig, man hört nichts außer der Natur. Jon und sein Team sind super gastfreundlich, warmherzig und hilfsbereit und so lieb mit den Kindern. Es gibt Handtücher für den Strand und es wurde jeden Tag geputzt, die Betten gemacht und sogar das Geschirr abgewaschen. Wir würden immer wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Nous avons quitter ce logement pour un autre. Le logement ne correspond pas aux photos il est vétustes et sale. Nous n'avons pas de couette pour dormir comme sur les photos, pas les coussins comme sur les photos, les toilettes sont sales, le rideau pour ne pas avoir la lumière est trop petit par rapport à la fenêtre. La chasse d'eau des toilettes ne fonctionne pas, le lavabo est sale, les portes ne fonctionne pas, la douche ne chauffe pratiquement pas.

Visited in 2018 and this was a paradise. It’s now run down and nothing like it’s former self. The beautiful reception area where you could sit and chat to Yuko and her partner has gone - replaced with mops, buckets and spare toilet roll boxes. The online photos in no way represent it’s current state. Such a shame that it hasn’t been kept up to scratch by the new owner as there was literally no where else like it on the island. I even had to query we were in the right place on arrival such is the difference. I have to take into account that Covid would have affected this island enormously but even so the grubbiness is no excuse for it’s current state. If there weren’t so many of us renting these cabins we would have asked to move

We booked 10 nights as the photographs and reviews (AirBNB) looked good, the photographs are clearly from years ago, the whole place appeared neglected, see my photos. We booked the Zen Cabin but were shown to it and told the AC wasn’t working so would be in another cabin for a couple of days until the AC was sorted, not in itself a big deal but meant not fully unpacking as we would be moving again. Having dropped our bags we went out for dinner, by the time we returned it was dark, the 130m unpaved track to the cabins was pitch black, no lighting at all, we actually missed the turn toward the cabins and walked further up the track before realising and coming back, we felt this was dangerous. Having got back to our temporary cabin and looking around we realised it wasn’t very clean. The dangerous track, unkempt gardens and unclean accommodation made up our minds, we weren’t staying, we looked online and found a nearby hotel that had accommodation, checked it out and moved there next day.
