"We chose this hotel as it was very near all the shopping streets. However, for the price we paid (about SG$120 per night), it is definitely not worth it. Before arriving at Kobe, was paying the same room price (and even less) at Osaka and Kyoto but these other hotels were way way better. Breakfast was very sad, can skip and go elsewhere to eat. Room was so so cramped. Overall it is no value for money."
"The hotel is quite large, and it can be seen that the overall maintenance is very good. The service staff is also quite professional. There is a shuttle bus to Arima Onsen Street every 20 minutes. In fact, it is not far to walk there, which is very convenient.
Hot Spring: There are hot springs on the roof and the first floor, where you can experience different scenery. There are several pools indoors and outdoors, and the choice is very good. There are gold springs, silver springs and a bubble spring. The skin is slippery after soaking. Toiletries can be bought in the store. I like the hot spring face soap the most, which has very rich foam. There are free drinks after soaking in the hot spring. Among them, Arima Onsen bubble water is the most recommended, which is a local signature.
Dining: Dinner is eaten in your own room, which is very convenient. The service staff served the dishes one by one. The quality is good. I chose a buffet for breakfast. The venue is very large. Although there are many varieties to choose from, it is not exquisite enough. It feels a bit noisy when there are many people. In fact, you can also choose to eat in your own room.
Shopping: The hotel's supermarket has a lot of varieties, and local specialties can be bought at a reasonable price. It saves you from going to Arima Onsen Street to buy."
"We took an hour express bus from Osaka Station to Arima. We called the hotel front desk and a car came to pick us up in a while. The hotel is halfway up the mountain. Every staff member is very enthusiastic. When a young lady was preparing dinner in our room at night, I told her that the floor of the balcony was a little vibrating and noisy. I don’t know why. The young lady immediately reported the relevant colleagues. Another technician came to check the situation twice. After confirming that the noise disappeared and had no impact, he kept apologizing to us. The hotel’s open-air golden hot spring pool can be reserved. It costs 4400 yen for two people for 45 minutes. I was worried that 45 minutes would not be enough time. It turned out that I couldn’t hold on for 45 minutes and came out. I was so sleepy after the golden hot spring. Not long after dinner, I couldn’t lift my eyelids. I was so sleepy that I fell asleep before 10 o’clock. The dinner seemed to be small plates. My stomach was about to explode after eating. Although there were only three slices of Kobe beef, it felt better than the Kobe beef specialty restaurant I ate in Kobe City, which cost 30,000 yen per person. The breakfast the next morning was also very delicate and delicious. The only slight shortcoming might be that it was a little early, the latest one was 8:30 in the morning. Although this hotel is not as famous as some other hotels in the surrounding area, it is the most satisfying stop of my trip and I am very satisfied."

"1. Location: Very close to the beach, Sannomiya Station, and luxury stores are within walking distance
2. Hygiene: There is nothing to say, Japanese hotels are very clean, and the service is also very good, but the space in Japanese hotels is indeed small, and the rooms are a bit cramped
3. Room: The wabi-sabi style decoration style is very elegant, with many high-end design details, the quality of the amenities is also very good, and the quality of the breakfast is also good"
"The city view room has a view of the town. The interior is similar to other rooms. It is more convenient to take an outdoor hot spring on the same floor, but you need to go to the lobby on the first floor to get the key. The hotel facilities are user-friendly. The staff are very nice. It is worth coming to Arima. A wonderful memory"
"Great that the hotel has shuttle bus service from Sannoymiya station, and the service is fantastic. It was hassle free and easy to get to the hotel. Other services were great as well, however, the laundry service was less than great. There are not enough washing machines for the size of the hotel, and many guests are always queuing for the washing machine. Also, the bell captain is inconsistent with the way of managing the laundry queue. Sometimes, there is a waiting list for guests to register on, while other times, there is a need to wait in person for the key to be available."
"Just a few mins away from both Sannomiya station and Motomachi area. Equipped with a public bath facility and the coin laundry. (There was a queue after 9pm. Go for it earlier!) Staff were attentive and helpful. Only drawback- the view of my room was like completely blocked by other buildings, and we were not able to get enough natural lights. It was even darker than the average at night."
"Hands down best stay so far during my 15 days in Japan and the service is really immaculate. I've been to Japan on several solo trips and this is easily one of the most memorable hotels. The staff are really nice and the hotel room view is incredible. The room they upgraded me to speaks for itself, beautiful bathroom and really good amenities. Although the hotel is situated off the mainland, there is a portliner rail service and also a complementary shuttle service to two of the main stations in Kobe city area. Really value for money."
"A choice that completely exceeded my expectations!
I like the local culture more because I stayed in a hotel!
The service is perfect!
The details are really admirable.
Highly recommended!"

Amazing
GGuest UserThe staff are very friendly and polite, especially the shuttle driver who is very nice and can speak Mandarin. The hotel has several free private baths that can be reserved, and there is also a large bathing area. I chose a room without a bathroom, so I took a bath in the large bathing area, but the room is very new, spacious and bright. The food in the restaurant is also delicious. Although it is not a large hotel, it has everything it needs. In addition, I saw a comment on a certain platform saying that it is not possible to deposit luggage in advance, so I was a little worried, but we arrived at 11:00 am and were able to leave our luggage temporarily, then go to the hot spring street for sightseeing, and take the shuttle bus back to check in at 3 o'clock.

Amazing
SSerenAn exceptional stay! The front desk service exceeded expectations with their attentiveness and professionalism. The staff were consistently friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The onsen was spotless and relaxing, and the hotel’s location was incredibly convenient. Highly recommended for a comfortable and memorable stay!
GGuest UserThe overall price-performance ratio is very unreasonable. The room is large but not practical. There are almost no toiletries. The towels are old and few. The bathroom and the space for clothes are very cold. There is no floor heating. There are no humanized items. It is the worst hot spring hotel I have ever stayed in.
The service is rigid. After checking in, they never showed up again. You have to pay for everything. You have to buy water and coffee yourself. Fortunately, there is a very good cafe downstairs. The attitude is also quite good. When they saw us before closing, they opened the door and made two cups of coffee for us.
The whole hotel is OK only for the decorations at the entrance. The rest are very ordinary. The public space waiting for the hot spring is super cold. There is no floor heating and no air conditioning. The hot spring pool is also very simple, like a public bath, without any beauty.
I will not go there again

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is a little dated, however the location is very convenient as it's near the station, but a little weird to get to the hotel as its lobby is on a higher floor, along with the staff was friendly.
EEmily_journeyGreat location and worth for value, spacious room for a solo traveller
10 mins walking to Sannomiya center and metro station
Easy to connect anywhere in Kobe and to Osaka
Nice facilities and fully provided amenities & toiletary. Highly recommended.
NnomadsenseiThe location is fantastic. Beautiful and well maintained hotel. However, after observing one of the staff members my first thought was 'MOTTAINAI”.
Because, the female foreign staff named Hou has exhibited a low level of behavior for this hotel. Her eyes looked unfriendly, because she never had a smile. In fact, she made a remark and criticism about my question. It became clear to me she is the unprofessional type who is not suitable for such a nice hotel.
Photos are from room #507 where carpets had noticeable stains.
Uuncle John 1974Honestly front desk lady who checked us in was not welcoming, rather rude. Misunderstanding happened shortly due to carpark issues. She came to rectify the issue and I apologise and thank her. Overall. Good service
++tengIt takes about 20 minutes to take the bus + walk from Shin-Kobe Station.
It is a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya Station.
The location is convenient and the environment is OK.
The restaurant is relatively small and it is a bit difficult to find a seat when there are many people in the morning.
GGuest UserThe hot spring is small, but there are few people, and there are both gold and silver hot springs.
Meals are between 350 and 600 per person, which is pretty good. Breakfast is more than 100 per person, which is quite cost-effective.
The front desk can communicate in English or a translator depending on the personnel situation, and the service attitude is very good.
There was a foreign waiter in the restaurant who said he was learning English, but his English was actually very good.
There were no reviews when booking, so it was a successful adventure.

Very Good
KkarekarekareBook a female dorm room for 4 people, but I was alone so have the room for myself. The bed is futon style, a thin foam and then the futon mattress itself. We get a new white sheet upon check in. There's a thin full body mirror, small rack for suitcases and personal belongings, but if you need to, there's also safe box near staff room. The female dorm room is on the 2nd floor, next to the shared kitchen so you can kinda hear other guests cooking or working on their laptop with the wifi. You can have your coffe, tea, cup ramen and even light cooking is allowed as they provided the pans, and also some seasonings. The sink and the toilet is next to it, hairdryers are available and the toilet has bidet seat.
The shower room are on the b1f floor, which a little bit of hassle because you have to pass the staff room everytime. You can wash & dry you clothes too in the utility room next to it, but I dont know if they charge or not. Another kitchen and TV room is also here. Rental towels, bath robe, one time use shaver are also available.
Over all a pleasant place if you only looking to for a place to sleep, and wash your self. It's 5 minutes walk from Oishi station. There's a small river near too which also a nice place for a small walk.
