Residence Inn Saginaw

Improve: Ducts in the room needed cleaning. Maintenance man with no uniform or identification randomly shows up to our room asking if we needed a tub fixed. We did not. Need better disposal of breakfast dishes. Sustain: The rooms are spacious and the appliances work. Rooms are clean, and have plenty of outlets. Gym equipment consists of Life Fitness ellipticals and treadmill. Common areas are well kept, and the front desk staff went above and beyond.

I love the kitchen in the room. Not a huge fan of the bed, it was too soft.

The hotel is okay, but is in serious need of an upgrade and remodel. It’s getting very tired. Even the furniture is well worn. The chairs in the breakfast area are very well used and those in our room are definitely showing their age. The shower curtain rod was barely hanging on to the wall. Breakfast was humble and I feel this is an area that Marriott had really let deteriorate. It just wasn’t good and it’s obvious everything is pre packaged. Coffee wasn’t ready until about 6:30. At one time Marriott had 24/7 coffee. Apparently, no more. We slept well and staff was very nice. It’s just sad how the hotel has slipped. Probably won’t stay here again and this wasn’t our only stay at this hotel, however, the last time was about 4 years ago. It’s gone downhill during that time. Come on Marriott, step it up.

Top Saginaw Location Absolutely beautiful property. The building was immaculate and the grounds were manicured. Room was absolutely spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I will definitely be back to this location.

Great stay!! Perfect!

Total disappointment! When we walked into the room, both sets of curtains were torn, we found a hug centipede and spider! The chairs were ripped, appliances were dirty, and we wouldn’t sit on the couch as it was disgusting. The hotel associate barely spoke to us and was watching a loud tv. While the hotel offered free breakfast, we would not eat it given the lack of cleanliness. We expected so much more from Marriott given the good reviews on ******* and were completely disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
