Mook Ing Lay

What a lovely place this is! Friendly hotel team, fruit platters offered every day and the rooms are clean, spacious and the linen is lovely and soft. The a/c works a treat. The grounds are kept beautifully and are spotless. It’s a peaceful and relaxing place. Nice little balcony/patio with tables and chairs. Short walk to “town” and from the pier - you can easily walk here from a boat, you needn’t get a taxi unless your luggage is heavy. We had a family room and it was spacious and the kids loved the bunk beds. Definitely recommend to stay for couples or a family! Thank you, Mook Ing Lay

We have visited Ko mook before and stayed at the mook lamai which has a small swimming pool which was 4 times the price, and I can honestly say this property was overall nicer.We were too late booking mook lamai so took a chance with this property.We had a room with air con, a fridge, a comfy clean bed with new blue sheets and a lightweight duvet.It had a tiled clean bathroom with hot shower.It had a little patio with two wooden chairs and a table in a pretty garden where you could relax watching the visiting birds and butterflies.There was a clothes rail outside handy to hang costumes or to wash tops etc. The room inside was white with blue pictures and concrete bungalows painted in various pastel colours( very pretty).It was run by a lovely lady Mai and her friendly staff.The location was two mins off the pier, 2 mins to walking street ( with lots of restaurants) and a ten minute tuk til ride away to Charlie beach( 50 bhatt per person). We hired a motor bike for 200 bhatt a day from Mai so we could explore the small island. .We stayed in 4 star resorts on other islands and came to the conclusion that this property was extremely great value.If we returned to mook id ditch the expensive resorts and stay here.Extremely clean, new, great base …all one can ask for
