"The hotel is very picturesque, the rooms are spacious, and the sunset on the pier is gorgeous. Even the transportation was easy to organize. However, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff's English was not great in general, which made communicating difficult, but the real issue was how they handled my surprise engagement proposal. I spent weeks trying to arrange a private boat to one of the picturesque nearby island beaches for March 31st. I sent an email on Feb 24th and a follow-up email a couple of weeks later, CC’ing every email address possible and even contacting them through Trip.com directly just to get a reply. I didn't get a single reply. I happened to be staying at the Marriott in Phuket five days before the proposal, and had their concierge call Santhiya for me to arrange for the boat transfer and help with my proposal. Spoke to them directly, and told them my request in detail, and was told it was "no problem" and "super easy" to arrange, and to just speak to their staff once I arrived. So when I arrived, and I was told everything was fully booked, I was extremely disappointed. Their only suggestion was for me to pay to extend my stay until a boat became available, which was incredibly disappointing and frankly insulting. It would entail changing flights, transportation arrangements, etc, really really annoying. I had to go outside the resort and arrange a private boat through a third party myself. I managed in the end, and thankfully my (now fiancee) said yes, but the process was unnecessarily stressful due to two ignored emails and a reassuring phone call that turned out to be untrue. I complained at checkout over a week ago; the manager seemed to empathize, but I haven’t heard back since. A beautiful property, but the lack of care for a special occasion was deeply disappointing."

"From Pick to drop up, everything was perfect. I got arranged their pick up service by shared shuttle and boat ride from Ao Nang. Once arrived at the resort from a 20Min boat ride, small walk to the reception area, process was quick. had to download the app to get notifications and other services. I travelled with mom for my birthday treat.Apparently we had the best view, stated my the Guest Relations manager which was room 306, and surely the views were amazing. the TreeHouse is a childhood dream come true, as I always wanted to say in a treehouse but never happened. The private pool was slightly on the cold side, especially when the sun disappears, so best time to get in the pool is morning time, wish they had temperature control for it."

"Cape Kudu was the perfect island getaway. With that being said, the location is very secluded and requires multiple methods of transport. Although necessary and obvious for an island stay to be secluded, there could be increased methods of getting to the island. Service was impeccable. We celebrated a birthday here and the staff left a small complimentary cake in our room on the day of! They really go above and behind to make your stay amazing. Breakfast is also great - an immense assortment. There’s a roti station, egg station and lots of local and Western dishes available. Overall, would definitely stay at the Cape locations around Thailand!"

"This place was on an whole another level. It was a pain in the bum to get to but totally worth it. It was one of the nicest places I've ever visited in Thailand on all the islands. The staff was amazing, amneties really amazing, but the side of a cliff does pose it's challenges as walking is not for the faint of heart and hot so really a good work out, luckily they have a trolley and tuk tuk system to get around but you choose carefully where you spend time. Weather was not super great so it limited a bit of the views and sunsets or sunrises but the pools made up for this. The room was out of this world. I was speechless most of the trip just cuz the level of detail on entire property. Beds comfy of course, spa amazing. Will come back but next time.take a villa. Amazing experience."
