Pench Jungle Camp

This was my second visit to Pench Jungle Camp, and I truly wish I could say it was as memorable as the first. Last year, I had an amazing experience—thanks to the personalized hospitality and the hands-on involvement of the manager, ***** with fantastic food and cleanliness that made us feel genuinely welcomed. That visit left a lasting impression and brought me back here again. However, this time, the experience has been nothing short of a disaster. The housekeeping has been completely unacceptable—rooms were not cleaned properly, basic amenities were missing or had to be asked for multiple times, and even after repeated follow-ups, the staff showed sheer negligence. It’s shocking to see such a steep drop in standards. What made matters worse was the complete lack of response and involvement from the current manager. Despite raising concerns, there was no effort made to rectify the issues or even acknowledge them. The warmth and proactive care we experienced during our previous visit were nowhere to be found this time. I would like to directly address the owners and senior management—you have an outstanding property, an absolute gem tucked in the wild. But sadly, your operations team is failing miserably to maintain it. A place this beautiful deserves a team that can match its potential and protect its reputation. It’s disheartening to write this, especially with fond memories of my first visit, but the mismanagement this time has truly ruined the experience. Please take urgent steps to fix this before it becomes a pattern that drives loyal guests away.

I had a brilliant time here. The stay, food, hospitality everything was brilliant. Rustic stay made it feel more in the jungle. Food is quiet homely & very comforting. I'd like to thank Mr Rathore for being so hospitable and taking care of our smallest of requirements on our 2 days of stay.

A great property with very helpful staff which made our stay very comfortable. We got an early check in and Mr Monthung and his team ensured that we were well taken care of. The delicious food and the resort ambiance were very pleasurable . We would recommend this for a family outing

PJC is convenient close to Pench Tiger Reserve(PTR), Turia gate to enter the core. A 5 min. drive. Rooms are top nodge. All you which for is available including fridge and bottles of clean water. Atmosphere is very relaxed at PJC including leisure walks in garden. In combination with location, service, food at restaurant and the extra mile staff is willing to take, PJC is a real value for money. Outstanding, after 22 years of experience at PTR, are the naturalists. All very knowledgable. They add something special in explaining nature of central india. Walking safari is possible at PJC which is a true bonus. Service in general is extreemly good, special to mention is restaurant managment. They represent the perfect hosts you hope for when making a booking. Over all PJC is your best choice for safari and stay in PTR.

Well situated, a large property with a welcoming garden that hosts High tea everyday. The room was spacious, comfortable with dome type ceiling that resembles a camp heaven! The toilet is large and overall the rooms are very well maintained. Complimentary water is provided daily. Food wise, local and international cuisine buffet style is served daily. Very delicious! Above all, the service is exceptional all round. Particular mention to Seema who is also a naturalist. She gave us a tour and explained the safari process and protocol. Her attention to detail was fantastic. Thank you Pench Jungle Camp for a memorable stay. We will be back!

Good location - close by to the gates we wanted to go Great staff - a yes to everything reasonable we asked for. Special mention for Avdesh, Khelan, Ashok Yadav and Shiv Babu, all from the restaurant side I believe, as well as Rohit, the gentleman who ferried us for a coffee nearby. Nice rooms - We have stayed at better rooms, but these werent bad either. The bathroom can be a 'tad' better, but really, no complains Good spread - There is just the perfect spread of food The peace around the rooms is amazing. #212 has a really good view outside its window Good hotel, with great! service and good food and sleep quality. Can be a tad better. They didnt have the right quantum or nature of wine glasses, which was a surprise. The pool could be a bit better. Just amongst the few things that need improvement.
