Madathil Regency Hotel

Neat and clean customer-friendly attitude of staff.

When i stayed at madathil regency yesterday, i received a very comfortable welcome there. After searching many other hotels in kottiayam, i chose mathil regency on make my trip. The response of many hotels was very, very bad. Especially from bright hotel. I used to call all of them directly. That's how i searched on make my trip and found the mathil regency. I haven't had any trouble from there. I will make my trip choose again on such occasions and will suggest to others. Thank you. Sorry. I have not. I will try next time

We checked in on 19.08.23 & left for a function in the evening handing over the key (Room No. 205) at the lobby desk. When we came back, lobby desk was managed by night duty staff & he said the key is not there & we had not given the key to the lobby office. We were quite sure that the key was handed over & pleaded to search the same on the table, drawer etc. But the staff refused & kept on saying that the key was not given. We asked for the master key which he said is not available & did not escalate the matter to the Manager. Finally we ourselves searched on the table/rack & located the key. after suffering for an hour. The staff even did not say a word of sorry & blamed the day duty staff for misplacing the key. We were a family of two senior citizens, one feeding mother & infant and had terrible time & experience. Never ever recommend to visit this hotel.

When we came back, night duty staff was on duty & he said the key is not there & we had not given the key to the lobby staff. But we were quite sure that the key was handed over to the lobby & requested him to search on the table/racks etc. But he refused to search for the key & kept on saying key was not handed over. We asked for the master key which he said is not available & did not even escalate the matter to the Manager. We were a family of two senior citizens, one feeding mother & infant and we had to stand at the lobby for an hour pleading him to look for the key. We suffered a lot. Finally we ourselves searched for the key on the table/rack & found the same after about an hour. The person just kept mum & he did not even say sorry. He just blamed the day duty staff who had misplaced the key. Very horrible experience, the person was just displaying his arrogant & ego. Never ever recommend this hotel to anyone..
