Le Pacifik Kone

Kone is a mining town and hotels are in great demand. The Pacifik is a new property and this was my first stay at this hotel. Since my business partners booked the hotel, I didn't have much choice in location. It was a nice apartment with all amenities available, including cooking utensils, but the hotel fails with not having any bottled water as well as coffee/tea items. This hotel failed again the next morning by forgetting to clean my room, even though i specifically asked them to. I had to ask the reception to clean again. The best part was that the receptionist didn't speak English so I had to use Google Translator to make my requirements known. The breakfast at this hotel is extremely basic but given that breakfast in New Caledonia seems more continental, one has no choice but to get used to it when one is in town. Overall, I'd say that the location and the rooms are the best part of this hotel but given that there's not much choice in where to stay in Kone, you've to accept the good with the bad.

Séjour très agréable, personnel sympathique et accueillant. Les appartements sont très bien équipés et bien agencés, assez spacieux. La localisation est également propice à un bon séjour, le cadre y est sympathique, pas trop bruyant.
