"We shifted to the hotel from another one in the early morning before we went for sea activity. We saved our bags in the front desk. Hotel staffs were very friendly and gave us towels for sea activity. After came back to the hotel, we found our room was arranged at the third floor with rock island view, which was great and worthy of the money. The room was spacious and very clean. There was even an elevator for going up to the floors. Though the breakfast was somewhat simple, but it was enough to us. We loved the warm memories at the hotel."

"This hotel was great for a holiday where I even proposed to my girlfriend during one of the excursions. The staff was so nice and extremely service oriented. It was not very busy at the time we were there, so the staff made an effort to recognize all guests. Each of them knew our room number and every afternoon they requested what we wanted for breakfast, so we got a tailor made plate every morning. My fiancee got sick and they did whatever they could to be there for us and make it as pleasant as possible. The pool was nice and very clean, which points at regular cleaning, since there are so many plants around it. I would recommend this hotel to everyone."

"I had a fantastic stay at Shell Villa. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and well thought out. The rooms were clean, and comfortable, with a great balance of modern amenities and a relaxed island vibe. It really felt like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations or anything I needed during my stay: tour booking and car rental. Their hospitality made a big difference and added a personal touch to the experience. Located quiet far from the downtown, but it's not a problem if you rent a car. Booking a taxi is another option to move around but pricey one. Overall, Shell Villa Apartel exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Palau."

"Best part of the hotel is the private beachfront where you can swim and do decent snorkel (you might see turtle if you’re lucky). Hotel is located on Malakal which is 10 mins drive from downtown Koror. The restaurants on Malakal are not as many as Koror so that’s the only downside. Breakfast at the hotel was not bad too. Room is clean and immaculate although oddly there were a couple of ants."

"Special palm leaf roof architecture. Business is slow, so you might be the only guest or one of just a few in the entire hotel. The room thoughtfully provides electric mosquito repellent, so you won’t be bothered by mosquitoes while sleeping. However, since there are likely not many guests, the housekeeping might have prepared the room well much early, so the bedding had a damp, musty smell. Breakfast is not included, but you can add it for about US$13. There are many options to choose from, and it's recommended to order the day before so you can eat early and catch your boat trip in the morning. For dinner, there’s the Jungle Bar restaurant within the premises, but it seems that if there aren’t many guests staying, it might not be open."

"I saw a 5-star hotel on Ctrip and booked it without hesitation. It cost more than 1,600 yuan a day for three nights. The service was good, the breakfast was good, but the hardware was a bit poor.
