Abad Harmonia Ayurvedic Beach Resort

Hay varios hoteles Abad Harmonia, me refiero al hotel en Chowara (Kerala) El lugar es muy bonito, como si estuvieras en medio de la selva. Está muy limpio. Habitaciones con terraza. El tratamiento ayurvedico está muy bien (un poco aceitoso para las que no estamos habituadas). La comida muy bien. La piscina estupenda. Se puede llegar a la playa andando pero en esa playa es difícil bañarse debido a las corrientes. Kovalam y la playa del faro están a unos 20 minutos en coche o tuktuk. Allí sí que hay más posibilidades de bañarse. Está lleno de tiendas y restaurantes.

We stayed at the ABAD Harmonia for almost three weeks and had the most wonderful relaxing family holiday. Although a little off the beaten track, the facilities and amenities are excellent. We stayed in a superior room and it has everything you need for a great stay. The pool is amazing and is surrounded by coconut palms and tropical plants. I took advantage of a full body massage in the Ayurvedic Centre whilst we were here and the new facility is excellent. There is also an on site shop selling jewelry, ornaments and souvenirs which is very reasonably priced. The local beach is only a short stroll from the hotel and has the most amazing sunsets. The food in the resort restaurant really is fabulous, catering for all tastes and with a varied selection of food on offer. The resort manager Santhosh and all the staff here are simply excellent, always smiling, attentive and helpful, they were able to advise, assist, and provide for all our needs, with no fuss. I don't really have anything negative to say about the ABAD Harmonia, it is a little distant from some local amenities, but nothing a short tuk-tuk ride won't solve. I would definitely recommend the ABAD Harmonia if you are looking for a relaxing tranquil base from which to explore Kerala. We will definitely be visiting again.

We have stayed at the Harmonia on many occasions although we hadn’t visited Kerala for the past 5 years. It was so good to be back and what a warm welcome we received especially from Santhosh our friend and manager of the Harmonia. There is a beautiful pool set in very pretty surroundings. The food is excellent and George who manages the dining room is brilliant. He has been there for many years and really looks after all the guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

I have recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Abad Harmonium in Kovalam. A beautiful, scenic hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff! Lovely beaches to visit, great shopping opportunities from local people and amazing fresh fish restaurants! Thank you! ☺️

Relaxing comfortable stay where I was well taken care of. Everyone from the service staff to the manager were helpful and welcoming. Food very good, room service amazing. One morning I slept in so the kitchen rang enquiring if I wanted breakfast in my room before they closed and brought it straight up. This is my first visit to India but definitely not my last. A hidden gem at this resort was the little shop run by Firaz. A real find as I was going to a friends wedding. Lovely stuff to suit all budgets. ….Go on treat yourself! Disappointing Abad! Below expectations! Disappointing. Renu down property. The cottages were not very well kept. Lot of wear and tear - broken cloth hangers, broken kettle, leaking wash basin etc. silver lining - the ala carte meals were tasty though not much selection in the menu. Buffet was bad! Quite inside from the main area. So no choice except to manage within the property only. However, transport desk efficient. Cabs reasonable. Didn’t take pics.
