Ahad Suite Aonang

The room is spacious, there are only towels, no hair towels. The bathroom has a strong smell from the pipes, the water flows very little. There were problems for all three days of staying. It is quite a distance to walk from Ao Nang. Not recommended for those who do not like walking because the road is quite narrow. There were cars that hit tourists walking on the side of the road. The cars were driving quite fast. If you have a private car, it will be more convenient. The staff spoke well and gave complete information.

Hotel is located 10-15 mins walk from the active nightlife of Ao Nang and beach. If you are used to walk then it’s fine, else rent a scooter. Clean hotel and rooms too. Breakfast good but limited options. Room cleaning service tag is to be hanged out on the door knob only before 10am that’s the only concern. They don’t have napkins, toothbrush and paste, only bath towels. Hair dryer available. Majority of the guests are from western country. They were kind and nice. Swimming pool is located outdoor. If you book a room make sure you book it on top floor to see a wonderful view like this in picture. I’d rate the hotel 4.0/5. Amenities can be improved to get 5/5.

Good enough for family that doesnt like crowded or noisy environment. Location is not close with aonang beach. But hey, walking is such a great exercise while enjoying the local place. Or, rent a bike. The only not really good is water pressure on the higher floor. Get a room on the lower floor.

I really liked the hotel. The room was clean, the bed was huge, the staff was very friendly. The view of the palm grove from the room was simply divine, the breakfasts were very tasty. The embankment was 10 minutes away at a leisurely pace, and tuk-tuks were also constantly driving

The hotel is very simple which is not a problem itself. However, the service is very poor. The bed and pillows are hard and they don’t give you extra pillow. When you ask for it you get a simple no! They don’t have hand soap in the bathroom. We asked for it and they said they don’t have it. The room smells funny - we think it’s the cleaning products; and the bathroom every now and then smells bad. The breakfast is very basic and the same for all the 4 days that we stayed there. Mainly, it’s eggs - you can choose scrambled or omelet, and there are fried eggs for you to get it; 3 types of fruits, noodles and potatoes, toast, croissants, and muffins; coffee from the machine, and 2 types of juice. The worst of all was that I bought a service with the reception desk and it was offered another thing. I bought a van service to take me and my friends to Phuket from the hotel at 12:30. The van arrived at 12:57 and toured around to pick up more people for about 1h and dropped us off at a very awful place to wait for a bus that would only depart at 3pm. I got very upset with it because that was not what I paid for and tried to talk with the hotel staff who just told me that my money was gone and they couldn’t do anything about it. I was treated very badly and the receptionist who sold me the service told me “talk to yourself” when I said that I wanted to talk to the hotel manager. We needed to pay for a taxi to take us to Phuket and the hotel did nothing to solve their poor service.

Ahad Suite is a nice basic hotel with a decent swimming pool at the backyard. It is a bit away from the bustle of the beach promenade (on foot 15min, by car/tuktuk 6-7min) Closest beaches are Ao Nang and Tara. Very convenient if you plan boat tours to the islands, as the pier is just about 5min by car. Breakfast was ok, and the hotel staff really went above and beyond for us. Shout out to Nina, she is a gorgeous person and a professional receptionist. You can book any tours and programs via them if you like. Recommended to stay!
