Stay here with my family, nice stuff, quiet place for relax.

Firstly I would like to acknowledge that this place is a lovely location - however there is very little in the vicinity.. a couple of days is sufficient to stay here unless you have a car and use it as a base only. We had travelled around Southern Thailand and this was a lovely villa for a multi generational family but there were a few things to note. Outside areas The pool is small, and unless you are in the villa in the middle you don't really get huge amounts of sun. There are only 2 sunbeds (for 5 people it would not have been enough, but luckily for us the sun was not out so we made do with the doors open and the sofas inside) .. we didnt watch TV so not sure if this worked. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was a fridge full of stuff you could buy, like water, beer, soft drinks. Noodles and other snacks were also available to buy. But we did our research and knew there was nothing around so shopped before we arrived. The terrace is small, and the seating area could do with some sprucing up, the step was a little loose.. the huge pond in the middle of the villas was filled with fish and frogs which were fun to feed. Beach was ok to walk along but you cant use it as such. But it is picturesque. The staff were incredibly helpful, carrying our cases down the steep entrance hill when our taxi refused to reverse down! The ladies work super hard bringing your breakfast and cleaning. Rooms Bedroom 1 is on ground floor and well sized, the bed however, is really low down lol... which was interesting getting in and out... the bathroom was lovely very natural in design and the toiletries were gorgeous! Very clean and tidy. Bedroom 2 also ground floor - equally large size but bathroom was outside of the room and doors were a little creaky so being quiet was impossible ha ha. Bedroom 3 was upstairs... in the loft space, which was small, and the stairs were not for the faint hearted.. my sister only tackled them once a day literally Breakfast was a buffet style delivered to your patio with pastries and fruit platters, tea and coffee, juice, yoghurts, toast and you can order eggs and other small options on a menu. If you want more of anything you just have to ask. So as I mentioned it is fairly isolated, and most places only take cash... so we had to Uber to the nearest 7/11 to get some more as most places were taking card we found... The view point at Khaothong Hill is literally opposite - there is a car park at the bottom where you can buy tickets to get taken up in a golf buggy or car, then you get this redeemed off your bill in the restaurant at the top - great for the views of the sunset... however, it was cloudy the two days we were there so we didn't do this. We found the restaurant opposite the hotel Khaothong Terrace was fantastic! Really reasonably priced, great portions - the best Massamam curry and banana fritters we had! We went both nights of our stay and loved it both times! All in all, I would say if you are

Extremely nice staff, great views, great for nature loving families

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The views were undeniably spectacular and the villa was beautiful. The staff were extremely accommodating and willing to assist in making our stay as comfortable as possible. I’d recommend getting a car if you’re staying here multiple nights as it’s difficult/expensive to get a taxi or grab from the location.
