Hotel Kranjska Gora

I recently had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life here and strongly advise others to avoid this property. From start to finish, nothing went smoothly. The dining options (apart from breakfast) were disappointing. The meals were tasteless and poorly prepared, leaving me with no desire to eat at the hotel’s restaurant again. The hotel does not have a bar where you can hang around in the evening and order something to drink after a long hike/skiing. Arranging a business payment was an absolute nightmare. Despite carefully providing the necessary details multiple times, the hotel staff still managed to get it wrong. After pointing out mistakes on the first invoice, the next version was just as unusable. It seemed impossible to get a correct invoice or even speak to someone who could resolve the issue. About 80% of the reception team was unhelpful. Most appeared to be students or trainees who had little authority or ability to fix billing or payment problems. This caused a great deal of frustration, as they either couldn't or wouldn't address the issues I raised. Only one student tried to help out (I think her name was Edna, and if she is reading this, thank you from the heart! ) The sauna is ol,d and the infrared started working only after 30 min- Be prepared to pay extra fees for almost everything. It felt like the hotel aimed to squeeze out every possible charge without providing matching quality or service. Given these problems, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. The poor customer service, terrible food, and complicated billing process make it a place best avoided. Save yourself the headache and stay elsewhere.

Beeindruckend gestylte Lobby, aber heruntergekommene Zimmer und unfreundliches Personal. Rauchmelder von der Decke gerissen, kaputte Türen notdürftig mit Silikon geflickt, die Fenster gehen nicht richtig auf... Und beim Auschecken tut das Personal einfach so als wäre man aus Luft. Muss ich nicht noch mal haben.

First of all, I would like to point out that the rating refers to the management of the hotel only, specifically to the person Andrej Vuk. All other employees were extremely friendly and do their job perfectly. Explanation: When I arrived in the hotel room of this 4-star hotel, I noticed that it was very cold and told this at the reception immediately. They were not surprised, as they had already been handling similar complaints all afternoon. I was given a small heater. They also mentioned a room change which didn't happen. The heating was probably turned on just before the guests arrived. What's worse, the receptionist could not turn on the bathroom's radiator at all. So I almost didn't sleep the entire night. Besides, the window was without curtains. When returning the mini heater, I just said that my first day of stay was terrible. In response, the above-mentioned man first behaved very arrogantly towards me for a few minutes - until thanked me cynically a few times. I have already stayed in countless hotels but I've never experienced anything like this before.  A shame for such a beautiful place as Kranjska Gora!

Location is great. That’s it. The rest is terrible or very basic. The rooms are probably from 1980 or earlier (see the photos). The price per room is around 300 euro per night. This is the lowest standard we ever been to considering the fee. Rude and arrogant receptionist (the blonde one). Room dirty see the photos. I would rather sleep in a car than stay in this room.

He estado en tránsito , la noche me pillaba ahí . Pedí la habitación con las vistas a la montaña , me han metido en un agujero con la vista al parking y si me estirase un poco , podría ver los picos . Desayuno correcto , habitaciones renovadas , mucho plástico que sustituye la madera . No me ha gustado . Era un hotel emblemático de la zona y creo que ya está obsoleto . Es una pena .

Despite being very expensive, our experience at the Hotel Kranjska Gora was unpleasant. Our room was awful. The beautiful mountain view from the deck was actually a view of a cement tower five feet away. The deck couldn't be accessed b3cause the door was locked. When we checked in the room was so hot it reminded me of summers in New Delhi. No AC in the attic, and no fan. No pool towels. The bathtub has black mold on it. There is no safety bar. I fell getting up. The beds are hard. No one answers when you call reception. On and on. Management should be ashamed.
