"Spent a lovely weekend at Platzhirsch, recommend by my friends and I must say all expectations were fulfilled! Lovely authentic rooms, great breakfast and service. View of Kufstein castle, in walking district of old town, ideal for shopping and sight seeing. The hotel owned Kaffeehaus with own roastery has an amazing variety of coffees, cakes and petit fours! I will surely be back when in this area"

"The apartments are part of hotel Andreas, which is located about 500m away. You need to go there first to check in. The apartment is clean and spacious, but very outdated. The main issue is that there are no blind out curtains, which means you are sleeping in daylight, which is really annoying if you need darkness to have a good night sleep. Also there is no elevator in the building It's nice to have a kitchen where you can cook, make coffee and tea and have a fridge available. You can park for free on the street directly in front of the apartment block. If there's no space you will need to park further away or pay for parking. ."

"Stayed in the hotel in December. Outside was around -8C at night. I was staying in a room on the top floor. The room had no heating. It was heated by air-conditioning turned to blow warm air. A) it dies not heat the room; B) noisy; C) creates wind. As a result: sleepless night and caught a cold. Other than that, the hotel is indeed very nice: service is great, location cannot be more central."
