There were tatami areas and we could watch YouTube or whatever on the TV. It was a very relaxing trip!

We chose to stay at this ryokan from Sunday to Tuesday. It is located in an alley next to Kumamoto Castle Kamidori Shopping Street, which is really convenient! Breakfast also allows me to taste various delicacies from the Kyushu region. It is carefully prepared, but the bathroom equipment may be a bit old due to its long history, but the cleanliness is OK! The bathing space is also very clean and comfortable! Every staff member in the hotel is so polite and considerate! This is a very different place to stay in a business hotel🥰

6/F The large public bath is large and clean. It is open until 00:00 in the evening. There are very few people there around 10 pm. My little daughter went to the large public bath with me for the first time when she was 3 years old and she never tired of it. A waterproof Tatami floor mat is laid on the ground floor to prevent slipping.
This quaint hotel is located in the center of Kumamoto. There are many restaurants nearby, it is convenient for shopping, and there is a large public bath. The room is very spacious, and it is very comfortable for a family of three. I will stay here again next time I visit Kumamoto.

I had a good day's rest in a traditional Japanese accommodation rather than a modern one.
Pros: The location of the accommodation is very good. You can walk to Kumamoto Castle for sightseeing, and since it's in the middle of a shopping street, you can do almost everything on foot.
I was able to relieve my fatigue in the large public bath attached to the accommodation and had a delicious breakfast.
The hotel staff's hospitality was very friendly and professional.
Cons: The hotel felt a bit old.~^^
