Dear Taj Kumarakom Resort & Spa Hotel Management, I recently stayed at Taj Kumarakom Resort & Spa Kerala from 11-Jun-2025 to 13-Jun-2025, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. There were several issues that impacted my stay: • The cleanliness of the room was below standard (Washroom Door was without latch, always door was open, there was no enough towel was there in the room, Bathroom flush was not working properly. • The service was not satisfactory, One of the cleaner come to my room in the morning time and he told us . I need to clean the room . I told him , we are going out for tour he told, Sir I need to clean the room, please stay in the room . This was expected from the staff. • Wi-Fi not working, poor quality of on/off switch, Intercom set was not working properly. • Dampness smell in all Bed, Pillow, and comforter. I paid 41500/- INR so I expected a higher level of hospitality and comfort, I got the email for my stay booking confirmation so I mentioned there I am coming to celebrate my 10th Anniversary, no gesture was followed by Taj staff, even they were not bothered about the day of anniversary, This Taj Kumarakom Resort & Spa is in very remote location no any vegetarian cake shop was available in Kumarakom so I requested for a cake from the restaurant staff . The reply was very strange for me . “Vegetarian cake is not available in the hotel So requested to them just the put the white cream on the any sponge bread and make a round shape . I was not expected this type of response and service from Taj . 1st day at the dinner time I had visited to reception and requested for a room change, because my allotted room was too far from restaurant and the way of my room was very slippery and I was having 2.5 year kid . Her name was Priya and she promised me she will change the room next day but no response from her . The honest feedback for this Taj property is staff issue, location issue, No bothered about the customer comfort and I hope you will take this feedback seriously to improve the experience for future guests.
