Armes de Champagne

Probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! Travelling with sister and brother in law, we looked for a hotel a few hours drive from Eurotunnel and happened upon Armes de Champagne owned and run by Nicholas Froment and Pascal Leromain. Everything has been so well thought out, rooms are quiet, extremely well kitted out (essential tea making equipment for us English!), super comfy beds and acres of pillows, dinner and breakfast delicious, lovely garden, staff delightful and always helpful and dogs welcome of course. Can’t recommend it enough.

The manager was so rude when we checked out. Other negative reviews reference his attitude and his responses to these reviews say it all. Totally inflexible and petty. I wish I had read them before. It's a shame because everything else was nice and other staff were lovely, so I can see why the hotel has so many positive reviews - I guess these are people who haven't interacted with this man. But it's not worth it.

Séjour de 2 jours dans une belle suite junior nous avons profité de la piscine, du sauna et hammam, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié les dîners grâce aux plats raffinés, une carte des vins exceptionnelle, un plateau de fromages remarquable. Les conseils avisés d'Elissandro ainsi que l'accueil souriant de l'ensemble de l'équipe nous ont procuré une très belle expérience.

Nous avons passé 2 jours dans cet hôtel. Très bon accueil, parking avec code d accès. Nous avions pris une suite. J'ai été déçue par la décoration de notre suite tout à fait basique manque de charme et de caractère. Baignoire balnéo pour le coup agréable et notre suite donnait sur l église imposante du village vraiment très belle. Le couloir orange qui ressemble à un tunnel interminable pitié refaite le avec des couleurs claires, apaisantes de belles plantes de beaux tableaux .. bref il est atroce ! Le SPA est très bien, sauna, hammam, belle piscine. Nous avions chacune réservé un massage mais ils se sont trompés dans leur planning notre après-midi a été un peu contrariée. Le massage était exquis néanmoins petit bémol la serviette était humide donc pas très agréable et un marche pied serait vivement apprécié pour les.personnes ayant des problèmes de dos ou pas très grandes... Le restaurant est vivement conseillé, accueil, plats raffinés.. Le petit déjeuner est vivement recommandé également. Bilan global agréable prix de la suite pour 2 jours avec petits dej + 1 massage 775€

La nourriture est délicieuse, l’hôtel est confortable, le spa détente assuré et le service est très sympathique et attentif. Le décor est élégant. Je recommande vraiment cet établissement à tous ceux qui cherchent une expérience inoubliable.

I had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The beds and bedding were comfortable and the room was equipped with bathrobes and slippers. Although the spa and pool area were small, they were enjoyable and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and even offered us some croissants to take with us for the drive. Breakfast was well-organized, with a small but high-quality selection. The only minor downsides were that the hallway was a bit dark and some of the lighting in the rooms lacked a warm tone. Additionally, the rooms could be a bit brighter.
