Château de Paradis

Les pièces du château sont magnifiques seulement peut être le moments était mal choisi mais selon les messages reçus Georges devait nous accueillir et etre a nos petits soins ( selon les différents avis) seulement il n'y avait personne pour nous accueillir et de plus réflexion désagréable Vous êtes sûr d'avoir réservé ( peut-être étions nous pas assez bien habillés)... ensuite visite du château Et je pose la première question... facile Quel âge a ce château... réponse Je suis désolée mais je suis là depuis 3 jours et je ne sais pas.... super 🥴 Le petit déjeuner même dans une simple chambre d'hôtel ou hôte il est servi Ici et bien tout est sur la table mais c'est a vous de faire votre café et si comme nous vous avez un souci avec l'espresso Et bien j'ai cherché le personnel pendant au moins 10 minutes et personne...ce sont d'autres hôtes qui nous ont aidés.... Au déjeuner pas de rab...on ne vous repropose rien C'est vraiment très limite sachant que la nuit en août est a plus de 300€... sans compter la piscine qui n'est pas couverte... Enfin pas la peine de vous dire nous sommes très déçues et non malgré un cadre magnifique je ne recommande pas Décevant surtout que c'était un cadeau

Muito confortável. Local lindo. Proprietario muito atencioso. Recomendamos sem hesitação. Um local para descanso, próximo das principais atrações (carro necessário, mas não tem como visitar o Cale do Loire sem carro). George é um anfitrião que faz o impossível para satisfazer s tornar a estadia agradável.

We spend an amazing 4 nights at Georges Chateau. The chateau is beautifully restored, it is quietly located, but there is plenty of things to do and see a short driving distance away. Georges is a great host, he even got up at 6am to prepare us breakfast before we left! Thank you for an incredible stay!

Wat een oase van rust! De kasteelheer, George, ontvangt je met een kleine rondleiding door het historisch interessante en fraai gerestaureerde kasteel. Slechts vijf kamers voorzien van alle comfort. Goede bedden en comfortabele badkamer. Het ontbijt is inclusief, maar wel echt Frans, dus vooral zoetigheden, zoals croissants, koffiebroodjes en jams of honing. Wel een beetje vers fruit om te snijden en een bekertje yoghurt. Tegen betaling worden eieren gemaakt en kan men ham of kaas krijgen. Het hotel heeft vooralsnog geen restaurant, maar in de buurt, bijv in Amboise zijn genoeg restaurants te vinden. Heerlijk verblijf!

What can one say that outdoes the rest? This superb Château from the 15th century has been modified for the 21st in way that fits totally with its history. It is run by Georges who mostly does everything in the front office including preparing the tables and cooking delicious French breakfasts. Most of all there is total silence. One doesn’t hear any couple or anything at all except perhaps at breakfast. There is a large swimming pool and extensive grounds. Georges thinks of simply everything in advance. Apart from an adults only policy, there is only 5 well furnished bedrooms with en suite bathroom. On our lengthy road trip with another couple in continental Europe, we have another 15 hotels to go, but Château de Paradis is still our No 1.

From the moment we drove down the road through the gates, we knew it was a very special place. Our host George was kind and considerate, with a passion for great hospitality. The room offered coffee, and a very comfortable bed. The chateau which was tastefully decorated was made welcome by a tour given by our host. The pool was perfect with towels ready on the sunbeds. Breakfast was continental with lovely coffee. George very kindly drove us to Amboise as our husbands were at Le Mans. The best part was the peace, only the birds made the noise. Stayed 3 nights! Would stay longer but we are going to Italy.
