Nayara Tented Camp

I’ve been lucky enough uo of stayed on some fantastic places over the years but this wonderful hotel tops them all.. from the moment you arrive in the elegant lobby you’re greeted by smiling , professional staff.. The grounds of the hotel are teaming with Wildlife , we saw so many birds, lizards , frogs and the highlight was out bell boy Kendall ( who was just brilliant ) taking is to see a Mother & baby sloth coming down from her tree a few blocks away to ‘bless the tree and earth’ for looking after her .. Our room was of course perfect , even for the 4 of us ( inc 2 teen girls ) plenty of space inside and out , to have your own hot spring pool with views of Arenal Volcano ( when the clouds parted ) I don’t think there’s anywhere else like this place .. All the restaurants are superb, breakfast at the tented camp was just a treat , again the staff wear always smiling and full of helpful information about the local area . Mentions to Kendall,The mixologist who made the most fantastic martini and the fabulously friendly waiter at breakfast and the fabulous ladies at the spa .. We took part in yoga in the rainforest pavilion along with beautiful spa treatments along with the sounds of rainforest all around … magical .. I could go on and on..it’s a very special place and we hope to return one day ..

This resort was absolutely amazing. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. They are in the rainforest and from our room we saw monkeys, sloth, birds and many animals. The spring water pool was so relaxing after days filled with hiking and zip lining. The staff was amazing. Kind and welcoming. The grounds were clean and well maintained. We even sat in the bar and had great conversations with Jairo, the GM, and Caroline, the GM of the tented camps. Jose made us wonderful drinks and was great to visit with. They treat their staff well and all were happy to be working there. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Nayara Tented Camp in March of 2025 and had an amazing stay. It was one of the most unique and beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Our room had a view of the volcano and a private plunge pool with heated water from the natural springs. The service was incredible and everyone was friendly and spoke English. One of our favorite parts was the amazing breakfast they would bring out to your patio in the morning with fresh squeezed juices. The resort’s infinity pool was refreshing and had a swim up bar that provided excellent service. They also had hot natural springs on the property. We enjoyed the complimentary fresh watermelon drinks upon checking in. They also provided golf cart transportation around the resort if you didn’t feel like walking. There was wildlife everywhere. We saw several sloths, toucans, and monkeys. We even were able to see several frogs on a night tours. I would highly recommend Nayara Tented Camp, and we will definitely be back.
