Perfect home base for your trip to Round Top/Warrenton and just around the corner from The Ice Plant Building wedding venue! Join us for a your pre-wedding activities, a girls getaway or just to explore the incredibly cute town of La Grange! Please note that La Grange has a working train that comes through the middle of town. There is no set schedule for the train and it can come through at various times throughout the day and night. The property was lovely and comfortable and the host was helpful and responsive. My husband and I enjoyed a weekend at the Ginger Jar as our home base while seeing performances in Gonzales, La Grange and Winedale. We enjoyed the patio each evening and had family over for lunch one day - all raved about the charming decor. Everything we needed was provided and high quality. The train (which is fully disclosed) is no joke and it did come by 3 times a night. It worked for our short stay without any early mornings but be aware.

Wonderful This was one the best rental properties I've stayed at. Very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of amenities--coffee, towels, etc. The backyard was huge and provided a lot of fun for the kids. In walking distance to HEB, too. We spent Father's Day weekend here remembering our dad, who had recently passed. Thank you so much for the great stay.

Beautiful property What a lovely property. We enjoyed sitting on the porches and cooling off in the cowboy pool in the evening. It was in close proximity to downtown so we were able to get in some antique shopping and grab meals too. Thank you Caroline for having the house stocked with everything we needed for the weekend stay. Your house is beautiful!

Roundtop Girls Getaway A perfect place for a girlfriend getaway. Beds were wonderful! The house is thoughtfully put together, updated and very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay. Nice place to unwind after exploring the area
