I went to the hotel du glacier for a short weekend break with my son. From the initial communication with sussana everything was great. We had a very late check in so she arranged everything beforehand. The personal service at this B&B is second to none. A simple but lovely breakfast is served every morning and sussana is in hand to make you lovely fresh coffee. Nothing in the B&B is to much trouble. Very clean, comfy and warm rooms are serviced every day. Good shower with plenty of hot water. The ski boot room is convenient and has heated boot dryers and space for your ski kit. It takes 6 mins walk uphill to the side of the piste where you can ski down to the main lifts. You can finish here also at the end of the day. Easy car parking at the hotel if you have a car. Overall a little gem in La thuile with amazing personal service.

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at Hotel Du Glacier (having stayed in the Plannibel Residence for the past 8 years) and yet again the service was second to none. Susanna and Corrado were always welcoming and on hand for any situation. She even helped us book reservations at restaurants during our stay. Breakfasts were a combination of fresh bread/croissants/fruit/yoghurts/cheese/meats/cereals with a drink of your choice eg coffee, cappuccino etc. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with maid service every day. There was a boot room to store and dry equipment. I stayed with my family and had yet another wonderful holiday. Thank you Sussana & Corrado.

Che dire? Buona struttura che si trova nelle vicinanze della partenza degli impianti di risalita che si raggiungono in circa 10 minuti a piedi, oppure con la navetta con fermata praticamente davanti all'albergo. Proprietaria gentile e disponibile (in fase di prenotazione ho richiesto, per errore, due camere invece di una ed una volta arrivato sul posto e scoperto l'errore, non mi è stato addebitato nulla per la seconda camera). Buona la colazione ed ottima la pulizia. Ascoltate i consigli della proprietaria e lasciate che vi prenoti un buon ristorante dove cenare.

Just got back from a week in La Thuile staying at Hotel Du Glacier and would highly recommend this hotel: Location is great - the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the village centre and the ski lifts and (where the supermarket is also located) and the walk is a nice one - down quiet roads/next to a mountain river. The hotel is great – the room was clean, spacious and warm and up-to-date, with comfy beds and a nice view. Staff are great – Susanna was always smiley, friendly and chatty and happy to book restaurants if needed. Breakfast was good – a mix of hot croissants, cold cuts, cereals etc and proper coffee though some eggs would have been nice. If I were going to La Thuile again I would certainly chose this hotel again.

A lovely hotel. The rooms are warm, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Susanna, the hotelier , was absolutely fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. She was very friendly and went out of her way to ensure a pleasant stay.

Just back home from a week at Hotel du Glacier. Amazing trip! Friendly welcome. Everything as we wished. Rooms clean, tidy and well appointed. Cleaned every day. Staff were really friendly. Suzanne fabulous - recommended great restaurants for each night and even booked them for us. Breakfasts in the hotel also good - nice selection of cheese/ham/fruit/bakeries and lovely coffee (with top ups). Good also to be able to have a drink in the bar before and/or after dinner. Short walk to ski bus or 5-10 minutes walk to the slope side. Altogether perfect experience. Thanks so much!!!
