Waverley House Cottages

2 nachten genoten in een van de knusse gezellige cottages. Voorzien van alle gemakken konden we hier lekker relaxen, koken en eten na flinke wandelingen in Lakes Entrance. Ook lekker om de natte kleren van de regen meteen in de was en droger te kunnen gooien in ons eigen huisje! Dikke aanrader, de eigenaren hebben voor alles gezorgd.

Lovely cottages a mile or two above the main town. The bed are comfortable and the kitchens are well equipped. The cottage was like a Tardis - much bigger on the inside than it appeared on the outside and would easily suite a family for a few days

We've been here for only 2 days, but we were surprised at the very first moment. The cottages are looking cute from the outside and are spacious from the inside. The bathroom is luxe and the kitchen got everything you need. We spend one day at the pool and it felt like a Bali-vibe with all te nature around you. I recommend this place for everyone who will visit Lakes Entrance.

This was a 2 night stop over on our travels, you need to look out of the sign which is a bit small or you may drive past. There are around 1/2 dozen S/C cottages spread out over the site, which includes a small pool, BBQ area, as well as a spa, you need to book this first. The cottages are very spacious and cater for all of your needs from short to long stays, there are washing and drying machines in the cottage and washing power is provided, very useful if you have been on the road for a few weeks. We had a 2 cottage but only had use of 1 bedroom, these are not air conditioned but the main lounge is, so not bad. There is a full kitchen with all you need if dinning in, however we eat out down in the town. The bathroom is a jack and Jill with a separate loo. The car port was a nice touch to keep the car cool when the sun is out. it’s about a 6 minute drive along one road into town and the beach. There’s plenty of parking along the front. A great little place out of the way to relax, but not to far from the centre. Very Friendly and Helpful owners with an interesting history to the place.

We stayed in Fishpen cottage and rate it as the best self catered accommodation we have experienced. It is so spacious and clean. The attention to detail , layout, decor is wonderful and contributes to feeling so relaxed. It has a kitchen with all appliances and utilities. The washing machine and dryer came in handy . We loved having a spa bath. It also has a very comfortable bed. Would highly recommend

Small complex of 6 quaint cottages nestled in between large gum trees. We booked a one bedroom cottage which is very spacious in size. The decor is dated but it’s what you’d expect in rural Australia. The bed & bedding was crisp and clean, but the cottage as a whole could benefit from a deep clean. Full kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need to prepare a meal. The large lounge area with tv also came with a large wood burner - winter would be warm and cozy here. Large king bed - very comfy, and large en-suite bathroom with a shower and a massive jacuzzi bath. The place is lovely and light & bright with vaulted ceilings. There’s a small fenced in pool with pool loungers and covered dining area in the middle of the complex. The whole development is very peaceful. Wifi provided but it’s super slow - less than 1 mbps. Great location that’s peaceful but it’s just a short 5 min drive into the town centre.
