I've read mixed reviews on the resort but surprisingly my experience staying in Camar was great. Upon arrival, we received complimentary welcome drinks. There were 3 types of drinks we could choose. The room was clean and in good condition. Surprisingly they provided complimentary pink salt for bath. The resort was calm and quiet. It wasn't a packed resort but there were other guests actually. Love the swimming pool, it was clean, long and the depth is manageable. The breakfast spread was basic but I think the taste was good. Overall, I don't have any negative points to the resort.

One of the best. Great privacy, great pool, great private beach, and great service.

Camar Resort Langkawi: A 4-Star Promise with a 2-Star Delivery Our stay at Camar Resort Langkawi was, regrettably, far from the tranquil escape we had imagined. What is marketed as a 4-star experience unraveled into a series of disappointments, with service, cleanliness, and policy transparency falling drastically short of that claim. From the moment we checked in, red flags began to surface. A RM200 deposit per room and a mandatory signature on a form outlining resort policies were presented to us, a seemingly standard procedure, until checkout, when the very same paperwork was referenced to justify deductions for supposed damages. This felt less like protocol and more like preemptive justification. The room? Visibly neglected. Musty odours and sticky floors, a rusty bathtub drain, and the sharp stench of sewage emanated from the toilet. Most jarring of all, we discovered cut fingernails on the bedsheets upon arrival, a stomach-turning sign of careless housekeeping and a breach of basic hygiene standards. The breakfast offerings were uninspired and repetitive: day after day of noodles, rice, bread, yogurt, fruit, and diluted drinks. One might expect creativity or variety in a resort’s cuisine, but what we received bordered on dormitory dining. Service? Detached and procedural. A family member requested a simple tea bag replenishment, only to be told that an additional deposit was required, which was an unusual practice. We were also informed that replenishments were only done during housekeeping, scheduled at 3 pm. But even after the room had allegedly been serviced, the tea was never replenished. This wasn't just inconvenience, it was a failure to follow through. And then came checkout. We were informed of stains on two bath towel and charged RM40 each, taken directly from our deposit. When we questioned this, a staff member referenced a housekeeping photos that were sent to the front staffs. What followed next felt straight out of a playbook: the staff quietly pulled the housekeeper aside for a whispered discussion, far from our earshot. The optics were troubling and left us with more questions than answers. To our astonishment, the front desk then advised us to take photos upon check-in, a practice they claimed to use themselves. This only underscored our worst suspicions: even the staff knew what we were up against. No guest should feel the need to defend themselves before even unpacking. Worse still, we discovered in older reviews that we were not alone. One guest had previously been charged RM30 for a stained towel, hinting at a troubling pattern of seemingly arbitrary or fixed charges for questionable "damages." If you’re expecting a thoughtful response from the resort, manage your expectations. Based on previous replies, you're more likely to receive a defensive, rehearsed, and ultimately dismissive template, one that dances around the issue while sidestepping accountability. Langkawi remains a gem, but Camar Resort Langkawi tarnished our experience. We hope this review serves as a candid heads-up for fellow travelers and a wake-up call for the resort's management. A 4-star rating should be earned not claimed.

Una estancia estupenda y los empleados de 10. Todos muy simpáticos y amables; si volvemos a Langkawi volveríamos al mismo hotel. La Habitación tenía plancha, secador, gel, champú, nevera, etc.  Un desayuno muy completo. Al lado hay muchos restaurantes y bares donde se come muy bien.  Zona tranquila, aunque muy cerca hay un beach club. Pero quiero recalcar la amabilidad de los empleados del hotel.

El hotel está al lado de la playa, al lado de muchos restaurantes para comer/cenar, al lado de un Beach club que pertenece al hotel Dash Resort Langkawi , donde puedes tomarte algo mientras escuchas música. Al lado del Rockafellers también para cenar, tomar algo escuchando música. Al lado del Dash Resort Langkawi contratamos una excursión con motos de agua durante 3h con guía que recomendamos mucho en día soleado (echarse mucha protección solar) El desayuno incluido es siempre el mismo pero está bien. Las habitaciones agradables, con secador y plancha. Cambio de toallas y limpieza diaria. Los trabajadores del hotel todos muy majos y agradables. Pagamos una fianza de 200 MYR y nos la devolvieron sin problema después de verificar que la habitación estaba perfecta. Hotel recomendable si vienes a esta zona.

This hotel was really strict on the person stay in each room. If the room said for 2 adults, then the price you booked was only for 2 adults. So if you come with kids, each of them will be charge per night and per person. They will asked you to present the indentification card for each person during check in. The room can't accomodate any extra bed because there's not enough space. As conclusion, you can get a far better hotel and resort for the same price for this hotel..so please make a good choice...don't be like us😅we really regret and this matter spoiled our mood for holiday

Perfect Room cleaning, friendly staff, perfect location, exactly what you want for a super relaxing holiday. We enjoyed every single minute there and will definitely come back in future.

Отель очень понравился, чисто, комфортно, персонал на 5, всегда спрашивали как дела. Также, территория хорошо охраняется, делая пребывание в отеле безопасным. Если любите плавать в бассейне, берите 1 этаж, из номера прямой выход в бассейн.

Хороший тихий отель, хорошие завтраки, вежливый персонал

Отель позиционирует как спокойный, из-за этого не включают музыку, бар в бассейне работал, вкусная еда, зелени маловато, бегают по заборам белки, в пешей доступности есть кафе и рестораны.

Really nice facilities, good variation of foods and tasty foods and need to hilighted amazing service of the staff. Really friendly young staff. Highly recommend hotel for stay for long stay.

رحلة مميزة مع أميرتي الصغيرة كانت هذه الرحلة بيني وبين أميرتي الصغيرة. كنت قد وعدتها برحلة مميزة لنا فقط في لانكاوي، ووجدنا المكان المثالي - منتجع كامار. كان الشاطئ الهادئ، شبه الخاص، مكانًا رائعًا للعب بحرية وأمان. أحبت أن يكون الشاطئ كله تقريبًا لنفسها! كما أن الطعام هنا كان رائعًا بالنسبة لها - فقد وجدت فيه الكثير لتستمتع به. على الرغم من أنها ليست طويلة بما يكفي لحمام السباحة الرئيسي، إلا أنها استمتعت كثيرًا في حمام السباحة المخصص للأطفال. كان مثاليًا لها، وقضت ساعات من المرح في الماء. شكرًا لمنتجع كامار على كرم الضيافة الرائع وعلى مساعدتنا في جعل هذه الرحلة مميزة جدًا لنا. سنتذكر هذا بالتأكيد طويلًا!

لقد قضيت إقامة ممتعة للغاية هنا. كان الموظفون لطيفين للغاية ودافئين للغاية. كانت الغرفة نظيفة جداً. أوصي بهذا الفندق :)

فندق جيد، يتم تنظيفه كل يوم، وجبات الإفطار جيدة ولكنها رتيبة. حمام سباحة كبير وشاطئ خاص. في بعض الأحيان بدا الأمر وكأنني كنت وحدي تمامًا في الفندق؛ لم أقابل أي شخص باستثناء الموظفين. عند تسجيل الوصول، أخذوا وديعة قدرها 200 رينغيت (يتم إرجاعها عند تسجيل المغادرة) وضريبة سياحية قدرها 20 رينغيت. يقع شارع وشاطئ تشينانج على بعد حوالي 15 دقيقة من الفندق. يوجد بجوار الفندق متجر مفتوح 24 ساعة ومقهى يقدم مأكولات مختلفة.
