Ibis Budget Langres

Even though it was stated 5pm check in the staff let me have my room at 3pm. They said it was fine to keep my bike in the room but would prefer it in the garage. As my bike is of high value I selected to keep it in my room. Lovely staff, hotel and room were spotless. Some noise from building work across the road but nothing the hotel can do. Breakfast was adequate and had a nice selection.

A nice modern Ibis budget with a great underground car park. My room was clean and well presented. The breakfast was also well presented in a nice room atmosphere. Reception staff were effective and efficient. Really good location close to the town centre.

Does what it says on the tin. But with style belying its ‘budget’ description. Brand new(?) exceptionally clean with a warm welcoming reception. Great breakfast too. Such good value for a one- night stop off driving through to Venice. Well situated just 1 minute walk from the Main Street

My wife and I were on a pilgrimage across northern France and used many inns, hotels, and bed 'n breakfast facilities - the Ibis chain was always a reliable and pleasant experience. This Ibis was clean, great location and modern facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was good value and a pleasure to be visiting.

Although room was adequate for our stay me and the wife encountered 7 youths all hanging around the hotel waiting to rush in once you put a code in. The reception was closed so I walked away rather than give access to these youths. We tried to call the hotel but it just rang out. There was no emergency numbers on the paperwork we had been given on booking in earlier. Fortunately we met they French gentleman who where on there way back and told them what had happened. We got into the hotel and the youths kept their distance. Next morning I reported the incident to the reception desk only to be told that an emergency number is at the front of reception . So perhaps a note of advice to Ibis make your gusts aware of numbers at checking in . Or at least have some security in place once reception closes. Will I use ibis again. ‘Never’

The majority of people staying at this hotel are passing by to or from their holidays - and so where we. We used the automated check in counter as we arrived after 9pm, which worked like a charm. Don’t forget to take a picture of the door code, as the paper might be out. The rooms were spotless clean, the air conditioning in our room didn’t do much though. Breakfast was of course basic, but decent.
