Lanping Shujiawu Township Luoguxuan Hiking Homestay

I have been eyeing this B&B for a long time, and finally I went there. The rooms are large, well-equipped, well-planned, and the service is warm, especially the housekeeper Dandan who is always responsive. The price is all-inclusive, and it is a bit overwhelming to have four meals a day. The hiking experience is even better. It is not the season for mushrooms yet, but I unexpectedly encountered snow orchids, which is also a rare experience.

Entering the villa in Luoguqing is like a paradise. The mountain scenery is pleasing to the eye along the way. The room in the villa is an authentic homestay transformed from a local Pumi house. The doors and windows are quite local. The room is spacious and narrow, and the bed is more than ten meters away from the bathroom. The lighting is soft and has multiple modes. The homestay is in the same large courtyard. The room facilities are of high quality, relatively rich, and the design is very warm. The bedding is comfortable and the night is extremely quiet, with only the sounds of nature. Breakfast and afternoon tea are not bad. The rural wooden house farmhouse in the village is convenient for eating, but the taste is average. Luoguqing (including the sister scenic spot of Dayangchang, more than 20 kilometers away) has now become a scenic spot, invested by Shanghai Poverty Alleviation, and no tickets are charged yet. I booked a room package, and the Pumi tour guide Yager led a lightweight hike in Luoguqing. Along the way, Yager introduced some local knowledge, which was very rewarding. The next day, we drove to Qinghuadian National Wetland Park, more than 20 kilometers away. The scenery there has the style of Nalati, which is suitable for large-scale filming. In terms of experience, there are some shortcomings. The water flow of the shower is small, and the hot water is not enough to soak; the bathtub is actually unnecessary, and the popular smart toilets in recent years will make noise (in the booked villa room, the bed is far from the bathroom, so the impact is not great), which are all useless in the travel experience in recent years; and the drainage is not smooth. In addition, the price is not competitive. After all, it takes several hours to drive here. Fortunately, the booking is a promotional package. There are several traditional farmhouse accommodations in Luoguqing, but they are not good at online marketing. Therefore, the villa and the local homestays have not formed a homestay scale effect in the local area. There is not much competition between the two. High-end comfort and mass economy can be matched with each other to promote the common development of local cultural tourism. I have written so much, just to contribute to the rural revitalization of Luoguqing. Overall, I am very satisfied and recommend the stay experience.

The villa's homestay is very clean, the room has no odor, and the bedding is very comfortable. We stayed in the family room with our children, and the children were super happy sleeping on the tatami. The housekeeper Dandan, the front desk Xiaolan, and the walking Zhongzi were all very enthusiastic, meticulous, and patient. I will come again next time.

I was going to Luoguqing last year, but I canceled it in the end. I didn't expect that my dream would finally come true this year. Luoguqing is so beautiful! The staff in the B&B are very simple and kind. The two girls at the front desk started to contact me before I checked in, sending me the location and precautions. They kept a comfortable distance that was neither cold nor overly enthusiastic. The three meals in the B&B were very delicious. The chicken soup, rice with dried mushrooms, and the ham fried rice after hiking were all unforgettable. I walked 7 kilometers with the guide Yager. The child was a mushroom enthusiast. Yager accompanied and helped to find it very patiently. He knew the name of every tree, every flower, and every mushroom in the mountains. He could do anything. Luoguqing is so beautiful! I hope it will always remain as quiet and beautiful as a paradise. We will come again!

It's a surprise to find such a good hotel in a small village in the mountains. The hotel management and facilities are up to the standard of high-end hotels in the city. The two-night and three-day package is great value. The waiters and guides are very warm and thoughtful. The store manager also specially arranged a suitable hiking route according to our physical fitness and age, and arranged a bonfire party in the evening. Under the guidance of the guide Asheng, we saw a beautiful sea of rhododendrons.
