"Good stay overall, but a few things to note. There is no air conditioning in the actual bedroom, only in the living room area, so the bedrooms can be quite small and very hot. You also have to pay to use the safe in the bedroom. Some of the bedrooms don’t have an outside-facing window, so I would definitely recommend requesting a sea-view room and confirming that the bedroom itself has an outside window. Having said all of that, you do need to remember that this is not a 5-star resort. The whole place was absolutely spotless, the staff were so lovely and friendly, and the breakfast was always fresh and delicious. It’s adults-only, which meant the pool area was always lovely and quiet. The location is excellent — right beside a beautiful little cove where you can swim, very close to supermarkets, and just a lovely short coastal walk into the main square. We really enjoyed heading into the square in the evenings and then walking back to the quieter area where the apartments are. Overall, excellent location, excellent staff and a lovely stay. The rooms could definitely do with some renovations and better air conditioning, but we really enjoyed our time here."

"Excellent stay, we have gone back after a couple of years gap and the hotel is running smoother and exactly as it should. Food is great, something for everyone, the restaurant is busy but we never waited for more than a couple of minutes for a table. The whole resort is spotlessly clean with very friendly staff. Sunlounger reserving does still happen. Some people were sat on them at 8am, others had towels left.. there are notices everywhere asking you not to do that but unfortunately im not sure anybody takes any notice. Overall a great stay, 15 Euros in a taxi from the airport. We we stay again."

"Stayed in August with family of 4 2 rooms on 3rd floor .Rooms were clean,few cockroaches some days. Reported shower tray leaking which never got fixed so just soaked up with towels. Hotel is like going back to a 70s bond film and needs a massive renovation if it’s going to attract younger families. Food and drinks were good. Entertainment at night was the worst of any hotels I’ve ver stayed. Easy to get Sunbeds before 9am. Pool area is so dull and lifeless until they have on aqua aerobics for half an hour. No Music at all around the pool. Older barman at the pool bar was really rude all other staff were great. There was nothing for kids to do in this hotel at all apart from the pool and an old pool table and table tennis. Will not visit again with family maybe wait until I’m 70 years old if the hotel is still open"

"Stayed at this hotel 4yrs running and don't get tired of it, my kids this Yr were 8 girl and 11 boy, they came home saying it was the best week of their lives so can't as for more than that, its very central and in a great location just a 2min walk to beach, every staff member in this hotel from reception/office , cleaners , lifeguards , bar restaurant staff and entertainment are all so friendly and can't do enough for you, this place is spotless, no sunbed wars which is so good, we always go AI with kids this is the best option for us and always so much choice a themed food night each night , my boy is a fussy eater and always finds something to eat, we find the food really good and to high standard, we always book this hotel before we leave for the next and have done so again for next year, we always come same two weeks and this year while we stayed there were also at least 10 other families that had also returned from the same time last year so I think that says alot, my kids absolutely adored the entertainment staff and were so sad saying goodbye to them they both spent most their time in the junior club, lots of the same entertainment staff were there from last year and my kids were so excited when they returned and seen they were still there, they run a fabulous white party on a Monday night and tropical party on a Thurs night which is a highlight of the week , kids in junior club learn 4 dance routine and get to dance them at the tropical party which they loved , they did this with Deigo who was so so great with the kids he is still being talked about at home, the entertainment team also put on evening entertainment and their in-house show is our favourite they also include kids in some shows which kids adored , they done lion King show , grease/mama mia, 80's show all to a very high standard so well rehearsed and very entertaining , this Yr they launched a new pool show called dance and splash which was so so good and very inclusive everyone joins in, big shout out to vera head of entertainment who organises all this and has been in this hotel since I can remember she's amazing, at this hotel your kids will never go bored"

"Only been here a couple of days, first time in Lanzarote too and it's been amazing. The only problem was is that we had ANTS crawling on both sets of tables and we had to move our stuff, fortunately enough, non got on our clothes or anything, apart from our sweets which we had to chuck away Stopped in room 201 and it was a great view from the hotel."

"This hotel should never be introduced to families.For a start how can any families enjoy this hotel when you cannot have NO INFLATABLES in the pool.You cannot play with a ball in the pool!!! If you want a kettle in the room,you have to pay .... disgusting... full board,lunch,dinner you pay for all drinks INCLUDING WATER.... GOOD points it is clean,staff are friendly & the food is just OK.This hotel is for the old old people with respect.These holiday companies should not sell this to any young family.Also may I say the room needs a complete refurd,the shower looks like it came from the 1970s.What else can I say except young families read this & be aware!!!!!"

"We stayed at the hotel in August on a half-board basis as a family of five, and overall we had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were excellent — friendly, helpful and always willing to assist. The entertainment for the kids was also excellent, and our children really enjoyed it. The kids’ pool was spacious and a great feature. There are also kids’ clubs available, although we didn’t use them during our stay. The location is another big positive. The local area is lovely, with a beautiful beach nearby and plenty of amenities within walking distance. The town is particularly nice in the evening, with a great atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. We stayed on a half-board basis. As expected, drinks aren’t included, which is fairly standard. The food was good overall, with a decent selection and a different theme each night. However, although the theme changed, a lot of the main food options remained the same, so the dining experience could become a little repetitive. Our family room was very spacious and was cleaned and serviced daily. The room was clean and comfortable, although it did feel a little dated in places. The kitchenette was a useful addition, especially for a family of five. One small issue was that there was no lock on the bathroom door, which I understand can be fairly common in European hotels, but with a family of five, a little extra privacy would have been appreciated! Overall, this is a good family hotel and I would definitely recommend it to other families. The children really enjoyed their stay, and the excellent staff, great pool and entertainment, and convenient location made it a very enjoyable holiday for us."

"The hotel was lovely, nice apartments and friendly staff, only a couple of things prevented a 5 star review, there isn't a lift, we were on the 2nd floor and humping cases and ourselves daily was a bit frustrating, also the balconies aren't very private, right on top of each other, apart from that, place was clean and very friendly, only a few minutes walk from the square and beaches, nice and quiet place as well, key card required at night to enter. You also have the fantastic Debs Diner pool bar for food and drink."
