Hotel piuttosto vecchiotto. Ma pulito. La moquette dappertutto aumenta il senso di caldo e mancanza d'aria. All'arrivo il check in è stato rapido e gentile, ci hanno dato anche una card per girare su tutti i mezzi pubblici. Le stanze non hanno un condizionatore né un ventilatore. Dentro in estate si cuoce letteralmente. Ho fatto 3 docce fredde per abbassare la temperatura, ma senza successo. Qui dentro si soffoca. È mezzanotte e non riesco a prendere sonno, mi sento male e mio marito è nella stessa condizione. Siamo arrivati dopo molte ore di guida in moto e avevamo tanto bisogno di riposare prima di ripartire domattina...invece stiamo passando la notte insonni facendo su e giù dal bagno per rinfrescarci. Un vero incubo per chi ha bisogno di riposo e relax. Molto bella la card per i mezzi pubblici, ma il sonno è fondamentale.

It's just uphill from the train station exit. A metro line and several buses are also close. There is a safe, refrigerator and air conditioning in the room. The bed is comfortable. The shower is an enclosed stall so you don't have to worry about water getting all over the bathroom floor. The WiFi was also good. The breakfast is alright. There is a buffet with yogurt, cheese, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, sausages, good crusty breads (some days had a whole grain one which I prefer), croissants, pan au chocolate, 3 of the 4 days there was fruit salad and whole fruit (twice there were nice fresh figs), two types of "muesli" (more like granola to me)- fruit preserves and chocolate spread and orange juice. They serve you coffee or tea - 3 of the 4 days it was your own pot, the other in a mug. They give you a printout that gives you unlimited use of the transportation in the city There is a small garden alongside the hotel that has a table and some chairs. All in all it is a good place to stay.

Ein schon älteres, aber gemütliches und sehr angenehmes Hotel mit Charme in guter City-Lage, nicht weit von Lausanne gare (Hauptbahnhof) entfernt (etwas steile Anreise) und trotzdem relativ ruhig. Allerdings kann man das mit der Ruhe von den Zimmern nicht unbedingt behaupten. Die sind leider sehr sehr hellhörig. Das ist aus meiner Sicht im Prinzip der einzige, leider aber auch relativ große Minuspunkt, wenn man vielleicht mal darüber hinweg sieht, dass es keinen einzigen deutschsprachigen TV-Sender gibt (in der Schweiz!). Ich hatte ein Superior Einzelzimmer in der obersten Etage. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, aber sehr gemütlich. Der Ausblick auf die Stadt und den Genfer See war super. Das Zimmer hatte auch einen kleinen Kühlschrank und eine Klimaanlage und zu meinem Erstaunen sogar einen elektrischen Rollladen. Der ist vor allem im Sommer und bei hohen Temperaturen wie es bei meinem Aufenthalt der Fall war, sehr sehr hilfreich, da die Zimmer mit Ausblick zur Südseite liegen. Angepriesene Kaffeemaschine war allerdings nicht im Zimmer vorhanden, na gut. Sollte man auf der Homepage dementsprechend ändern. Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich, Frühstück okay. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel durchaus empfehlen, es ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, strahlt aber gerade auch deshalb einen gewissen Charme aus. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass der Geräuschpegel in den Zimmern doch sehr sehr hoch war, würde ich mich allerdings eher dagegen entscheiden, nochmals hier zu übernachten, zumindest bei einem längeren Aufenthalt.

Very good hotel, nice staff

Lovely hotel. Very good location. Close to everything. Didn’t realise this town was all up and down hills. Ok for us, but if you have walking difficulties, maybe not. Motel was lovely. We had top floor room with a balcony and beautify view of the mountains.

Très bon hôtel au centre de Lausanne Très bon hôtel au centre de Lausanne, près de tout. Magnifique vue sur le lac depuis certaines chambres. Emplacement parfait pour découvrir la ville et les environs.
