Visited before I realized it's owned by sanctioned Russian oligarch Gennady Timchenko and his wife, which is probably why it's deteriorated so badly. Would not go back for that reason, and because it should only have 3 stars, not 5. Nothing is up to good standard.

What a shame this hotel is not what it used to be. The views and it’s location are stunning but the restaurant has gone dramatically down hill. Limited breakfast choices, confused and inexperienced waiting staff and the quality and choice of food was poor. So sad to see what was once a gem of a hotel loose it’s joie de vivre. The owners need to have a serious rethink.

Very Disappointing We used to visit year after year and always had a great holiday. Sadly this year the entire culture and attitude of the hotel has changed . Rooms are pretty basic. Gone are the Hermes and Bulgaria toiletries. The real let down was the restaurant. This used to be the focus of the hotel and nothing was too much trouble. Now the staff and in particular a really unpleasant Maitre D' -Maxim found any request, however simple, too difficult to accommodate. We booked what we thought was a 5* hotel because we want various - simple- requests- Oat milk, Gluten free, Baby food etc . Available almost anywhere, but not here. Waiters no longer walk up and down the beach with drinks and lunch menu - too much trouble ! Breakfast mediocre and displayed without any care. Croissants that at a guess were baked the night before. Dinner- just two main course choices and an absolute refusal to accommodate any requests- even a salad was too much trouble. It would appear the Relais and Chateaux status has been withdrawn and it's not really a surprise - probably tells you al you need to know.

Honestly, I have never been so welcomed in my entire life. The waiters, notably Alexis and Valentin, are very professional and always attentive, as are the beach attendants (I'm thinking of Vincent, for example). I was there this summer for two weeks… and I will come back, that’s for sure.

Restaurant very, very far from a gourmet restaurant due to the banality of the tastes, the narrowness of the portions and the arrogant incompetence of the staff. The only moment truly worthy of a gourmet: the bill. Good hotel, nice bar but avoid the restaurant!!!! :

A small, charming 5* hotel by the sea, but as a 5* hotel the restaurant is mediocre. Arrogant and ignorant staff in equal measure. The dinner menu offers a choice of just two main courses - in a 5* hotel?? . We asked for a variation because we didn't want either dish and we were told very firmly: No! The waiters don't smile and seem to think they are doing you a favor. I came with my wife and teenage daughter. I asked for a table by the sea at breakfast. The waiter is hired at the rate of one for two people. He let me bring the extra chair myself! Such lovely service. The food was very average.

We spent the day on the private beach, lunch at the gourmet restaurant and massage Massage: perfect, very pleasant welcome and very pleasant treatment Lunch: average, the table given was not the one initially reserved and I found it average dusting during service (we are in a five-star hotel) The beach: top notch, attentive staff

We went there for lunch, the place is magnificent. It is a luxury hotel located on the beach from reception to dessert. Everything was perfect. The Niçoise salad was delicious generously served. I highly recommend the place.
